The bathroom was beautiful and spotless, and the room was ideal—it was really roomy. I adored the hotel's proximity to the river. The personnel was incredibly kind and kind. A welcome pleasure is the pool! I intend to come back here shortly.

The restaurant's food could be more elaborate

It is a very nice place ideal if you want to do the Yala Safari. The rooms are large but basic. The exterior is very nice and with a new and very nice swimming pool that overlooks the river. The hotel was a bit under construction finishing the pool area. It is common for hotels to be under construction at this time. Anyway it didn't affect anything.

A lovely hotel. We spent a night there. I wish we could have spent one more night together. The safari was set up right away. Leopards were sighted. A really good breakfast was served to us.

The location of the property was excellent. Lovely cool winds and surrounded by the river. The staff was also really nice and polite, going above and beyond to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. The rooms are quite roomy, with nice beds. On the last morning, we had a typical breakfast, which I highly suggest. Overall, a fantastic stay and excellent value for money. BTW, Tissamaharama has more to offer than just wildlife safaris. Check out the local birds near the lakes. Amazing! 🤩

The lodging was spotlessly clean, cosy, roomy, and incredibly delightful. Working A/C and WiFi. It was a delicious and substantial breakfast. We went on a safari with the host, which was really well planned and of very high quality. It was a lovely and unforgettable experience when he also took us birdwatching and on an evening drive around the lakes. He was amiable, supportive, and always had insightful counsel to provide. Overall, great value for the money. This place is highly recommended!

Loved our stay at Yala River Face Inn and would highly recommend. The facilities were comfortable and the air conditioning was excellent in our room. The staff were great, very friendly and accommodating and organised a safari tour for us. We had an amazing and filling breakfast included with our room. Only things to note are that the wi-fi was patchy in our room so make sure you have data as well and it is a bit of a walk to the town.

Lovely house, clean and big, has home cooked meal options. Hammock and rocking chairs available to chill in the yard, very relaxing. Host was super friendly and helpful, connected us with safari tour and express bus to other cities. 10/10 would recommend and stay again!

Very Good location. The River view is an added bonus. Owner and the staff were very helpful. They even helped me book the Yala Safari. The Guide was very informative, we were able to see the leopard, Elephants, etc

We are traveling with a one year old and it was so great staying at Yala River Face Inn. We got a bigger room for the same price because of our baby, which was so nice. It is a very beautiful property next to a river. The rooms are very clean and the entire staff is so welcoming and caring. They organized a safari for us which went perfect. Totally recommendable! :)

Absolutely loved the location, with a view of the river, which of luck had crocodiles going by!! The staff were amazing, gave us complementary drinks when we arrived and gave us some coffee the morning we were leaving, they have taken great care of us and have always met our expectations and more. They also offer a safari tour which we did and it was amazing

Right, so, listen up. We were practically spitting distance from Yala, yeah? Place was plonked right by a billabong, or a lake, whatever you wanna call it. Rooms? Sweet as. No worries there at all. Tucker and drinks? Bloody ripper. Couldn't fault 'em. And get this, they sorted out the whole safari for us, no dramas. Staff? Top blokes, every one of 'em.
