The only thing I'd note is that, because of its great location, it is close to some bars which can have loud music late at night. But I slept fine with no issues. I even extended my stay by an extra night so it clearly didn't bother me but if you were wanting something more secluded and quiet, then you should go further out of town.

I loved my stay at Rich Grove Inn. The location is amazing! A very short walk to the main street and no steep climbs to manoeuvre. The room is very clean and comfortable. The hosts are pleasant and provide a prompt, affordable laundry service. I'm solo travelling so the vibe of accommodation is important. I felt very safe and relaxed here. Highly recommend.

Perfectly located. Three minutes walk from both the heart of Ella and the train station. Our rooms were extremely well equipped and a reasonably priced mini bar was a nice surprise. The laundry service was excellent. Clothes beautifully washed, dried and ironed for 700LKR/kg. Much cheaper than the laundry down the road.

The room was a little damp, this is due to the weather in Ella. but it felt a bit humid. Opening the windows definitely helped. My room was on the ground floor so I wasn’t able sleep with the big windows open, even though the area is safe.

Fantastic location, right between the main road and Ella train station. The host family was extremely kind and made me feel welcomed. They listened to me when I had suggestions for the room. They even so kind to take my suitcase to the station on their scooter at 6am - that’s what I call a hospitable service!

The accommodation must be paid for in cash. This is listed on Booking.com but we missed it. It's only a short walk to an ATM if needed though.

The room was small but comfortable. The location is fantastic, really close to both the station and the main street so there's no need for transportation whilst in town which was great when there was a lot of people trying to get out of the train station carpark.

We liked this place for our overnight stay. Our first glimpse of the property from the street was not overwhelmingly positive, but looks can be deceiving and we were very happy with our stay.

Rich Grove Inn gives you everything you need. It is located near Ella city center, train station and many famous attractions such 9 arches, Ella Rock and Little Adam’s Peak. Room is clean tidy and the hospitality was impeccable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay will definitely come back again!

It was not a warm welcoming, we were introduced with a grumpy man who did not smile at us once the whole stay. Laundry came back damp.

Clean room, very good location near the train station. Fridge, kettle and amenities were good. Offer laundry service and whoever was on the other end of WhatsApp helped us book taxis. When asking for new towels/bins changed this was seen to, but room service was not offered.
