Great place, very affordable, perfect air con. The most comfortable bed I’ve slept on in Sri Lanka, mosquito net and clean. I can’t recommend enough. Really friendly owner and staff.

Electric power cuts out every night so when going to toilet, no lights suddenly. We go out and switch on the circuit 3 times each night so we didn't rest at all at night. Had to negotiate electrical circuitry issues. The staff didn't ask when we check-out and just sits there looking at his phone all day and night. Our double seaview room booking was a back room facing a wall with washing machine and noisy aircon and fan. WiFi is spotty as we are blocked by wall. Its ok from 2nd and 3rd floor. Our room on the first floor is hot as a/c compressors are located there. It felt like a basement dungeon. 2 pillows have 2 pillowcases to hide the brown with grey pots all over the pillows. We got 2 other cleaner pillows. We were super disappointed. My partner had food poisoning. We didn't take any pics cos we are too tired every morning as we didn't rest nor sleep.

AirCon, Fan, Hot Water works ok. It's 1 min walk to the beach. Bathroom is large and clean. There is 1 soap available. It's near lots of surf rental places, lots of restaurants and shopping. There are nearby surf breaks and tours are available too.

We couldn't believe our room costed almost 50 Us$ when we saw it. A bad mouldy smell in a dark old , "beaten up" room and a horrific dirty very smelly disgusting toilet. Rust everywhere and flimsy locks.A "terrace" overlooking a garbage disposal area with a laundry machine and a ton of crap. Never seen a hotel with a worse view, at least from my room downstairs. I can't believe this "hotel" has over 9 rating on booking com. I suspect the owner might have purchased some nights with a credit card and used different names to put good reviews. On google then in reality i found some reviews warning about the place but it was too late. There was also a very dirty fridge full of mould that they told us we could use. The two workers working there are nice but in one occasion we found one of them resting on our chair on the terrace thinking we were gone. I advise everybody to stay away from this place, you have been warned. The word overpriced is an understatement. Maybe if this room would have costed 10$ a night i wouldn't say anything. I have actually never done a 1 star review so far but there is always a first time for everything

A very nice place to stay in argum bay. The room was very nice and clean with a very big and comfortable bed. It's in a great location close to the beach, shops and many restaurants and surf shops for renting boards and for lessons. The host is very friendly and it is overall a very nice place to stay! I would recommend it to anyone! :)

Rooms are very clean and big, the king sized bed was made my stay more comfort. The tasty sri lankan breakfast was delicious , delivered with the beautiful view on the resort. The room is also quiet and has the hot water shower facilities. the beach is near on walking distance. I'm eagerly waiting for my next visit. It is worth for money. I highly recommend this place.
