The room was spotless – probably the cleanest I’ve seen during my trip – and everything was maintained with great attention to detail. The bed was honestly the most comfortable one I slept on in Sri Lanka, which made a big difference after long days of traveling. What makes this place special is not only the cleanliness and comfort but also the personal touch. Ramesh and his family are always available to help, whether it’s arranging transportation, recommending local spots, or simply sharing a friendly conversation. You can tell they take pride in making sure every guest feels comfortable and cared for. The room was very clean, mini garden outside, mirissa beach 5min by walking distance, coconut tree hill 10min. Staff very friendly and kind. Good breakfast. Thank you we enjoyed our stay.

The hosts were the loveliest family, and the facilities to match it. We had everything we needed and felt very welcomed at all times.

The room was great, really clean, super comfortable bed, spacious room. Absolutely nothing to complain. I just recommend double checking the prices of other activities that Ramesh offers (snorkeling, diving, Tuktuk and rides) with different places before you agree on.

It's a cheap option

The bed is not comfortable at all, you can feel the metal. In the morning you can hear the family of the owner doing whatever in their house because the bathroom window goes into their kitchen, i woke up at 7 am listening to the kids screaming it was not pleasant.

What an absolute gem this place was! This homestay was super central, quiet, clean, spacious and just perfect! It had super fast internet, which is very important as I work remotely. The bed is super comfortable and I love that they have mosquito nets and a fridge. The family was just the sweetest family and I was really sad that I had to leave, but glad I had 5 amazing nights. One night when it was raining heavily, they even gave me food and ice team so I didn’t have to leave the property in the rain. Talking about food, the breakfast was absolutely delicious, every single day! I also renter a scooter from the, which was super convenient and I also used their laundry service and transfer to my next destination. I would highly recommend this place to anyone going to Marissa. It’s so nice, very inexpensive and you get so much value for money.

Nothing, it was just amazing

The perfect location to stay in Mirissa, the room and outdoor space was lovely. Cannot express enough how lovely the whole family/hosts were - you were the best hosts we had in our time in Sri Lanka and we hope to come back one day! Big hugs from us, Calum and Tash

The property is centrally located in Mirissa. Easy walking distance to all the main sites. Ramesh is extremely helpful in getting you to see other places near by. He is happy to supply transport and make arrangements for you. The breakfast was hearty and delicious and good value. The rooms were spacious and very clean. Always a pot of tea waiting when you return from a day’s outing. A lovely family environment.

A lovely family run guesthouse in a quiet area and great location to restaurants and shops. We could arrive early to drop off our bags and check out was flexible too. A good sized room with air con and comfortable bed. The owners were very friendly. Good place to stay in Mirissa!

This place has a very central location and super close to the beach. Despite this, it was a very peaceful stay and spacious room. The hosts were very kind to us and even washed our beach blanket for us! Private parking is right in front of the property and it's easily accessible. Would definitely recommend!!

Nothing this place was great!

Very Sweet family hosting 3 rooms. It was like staying with someone known. Aunty is very sweet. Ramesh picked us up from the bus stop which was really helpful. He also helped arranging our taxi to Ella. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable bed with all facilities. It's very near to Parrot rock and Coconut Tree hill is just 15 mins on foot. Thanks for the hospitality Ramesh and family. thanks for making us feel at home.

The room is cozy, comfortable and perfectly clean. Ramesh and his family are great guests promptly helping you with anything. Delicious Breakfast too. Somewhere to go back, for sure!

Its a welcoming homestay run by Mr.Ramesh and his family in a quite lane. Close to the beach and other activities. Near to many restaurents & cafes. The room interior may not be photo worty, but with a functional aircondition and electric kettle, this is what you need in a beach accommodation. The humbleness of the family makes you visit again.

Lovely hosts, done our laundry and got up at 3am to give it to us before we left.

This is a really lovely little homestay. There are just three rooms in a cute little garden. Despite being just off the main room and close to the beach, it is really quiet. The room was huge and the bed was massive. It was spotlessly clean. There's a fridge which was a great benefit. It also has both air conditioning and a ceiling fan. The wifi was the fastest we had in Sri Lanka. The staff are lovely. They are friendly and helpful. They can do your laundry and rent you motorbikes. They have their own tuk tuk to take you around. They serve a lovely breakfast outside your room when you want it with different Sri Lankan dishes.

Very good value - A lovely homestay with a sweet family. We enjoyed playing football with Venuth in the morning :). Delicious breakfast. And a really short walk to Mirissa beach. We hope to come back soon

The family were genuine, nice people and did everything to support you. The rooms were spacious and super clean! The room was perfect! They looked after our laundry for us and it smelt beautiful after. The breakfast was the BEST we have had in Sri Lanka and we have been here for 2 months. It was different everyday! The location was perfect, super close to restaurants (Dhana curry pot is amazing), the beach, parrot rock, turtle beach and coconut tree hill!! We really enjoyed our 7 nights stay here and would 10000% recommended to anyone looking to stay in Mirissa!

Great guest house with wonderful hosts! Attentive to detail, for example setting up mosquito repellent around the table for breakfast. Highly recommended

The staff was very nice. There were insect repellents, so there were no mosquitos or other bugs. The location was good - couple of minutes walk to the beach, but in a quiet area. The room was simple, but all the necessary amenities existed and worked well (fridge, A/C).

We had a great stay, so nothing to complain about. Just one small possibility for improvement - breakfast was served cold (like pancakes or omelet), would be nice to have it warm. But that's a tiny thing, overall the stay was great and breakfast was good too.

Had everything needed, Aircon, fridge, bed was comfy enough, bathroom good and clean. Could also arrange bike rental and whale watching with their assistance.

There was an unpleasant moment when they did not allow my pre-arranged private transport to pick me up from their location, which made my departure complicated and that is why I deduct 1 point.
