Each review score is between 1-10. To get the overall score that you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of review scores we’ve received. We have people and automated systems that specialise in detecting fake reviews submitted to our Platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone else who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team, so our Fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we would publish every review we receive, whether positive or negative. However, we won’t display any review that includes or refers to (among other things):

When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (what language a review is in, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). If you like, you can sort and/or filter them (by time of year, review score, etc.).
We sometimes show external review scores from other well-known travel websites. We make it clear when we’ve done this.

FinlandOnly problem was some bugs and insects in the room and wifi not working very well, but the host promised to get them fixed quickly!
Walking distance from beaches and Mirissa centre, bus stop very close. Hosts were amazing, so kind and helpful and always smiling, gave us water everyday with tips on where to go, what to see and how to get there. They also offer a very reasonably priced, tasty breakfast, no point in going out to eat. AC worked great in the room, which was nice and roomy. Access to a nice yard and also kind of our own living room outside the bedroom. Great value for money!

SpainEverything was perfect. The room is spacious and clean. Has its own bathroom, mini living room and shared kitchen. The shower has hot water that is a luxury after coming from the beach. The place is very beautiful, in the country but close to the beach. The family who runs the place is so friendly and they take care of you so you are always feeling good. I recommend to everyone, super nice place :) thank you!

The owner is very friendly and helpful. We loved the location, lush green garden with beautiful orchids. The room is spacious, very large and comfortable bed. The shower has also hot water, a big plus for me : ). We ordered breakfast, that was delicious! Everything we wanted to do and see was in walking distance. We like to eat where the locals eat, even that is possible in a touristic town like Mirissa. We had a very nice and relaxed stay.

United KingdomNice little room in a great location, just off the main road and easy to walk to beach/restaurants. The family are lovely and made us tea and gave us fruit from their garden. They arranged a scooter for us to hire on request and made us feel very welcome in their home. Definitely worth what we paid for the room and we would stay again. ☺️

Sri LankaI'm sorry we had to leave so soon! For medium eaters, the portion sizes are to big, I do not like food waste, but as often is the case in Sri Lanka, it was too much.
We had the privilege to spend New Years with the host, it was fantastic! We baked cookies, had a wonderful new years meal and had fireworks on top of that! The host is incredibly friendly and helpful. I loved the room and the great bathroom, the beautiful garden and the food! 200 meters from the beach, 5 min walk to turtle beach. Incredible value for money. Highly recommended!

Sri LankaLocation is at walking distance to all the main attraction near Mirissa. Exceptional value for the price with a decent breakfast. Host, Navod is the best and he supported with all the queries and requests. Best place to stay around Mirissa! They have separate kitchen area. You can do your own cooking if you like.
