My Husband and I had the apartment. I really did not like the small kitchen area, even though we had no intention of cooking. It was not modern. It way it was put together was a bit basic. The price paid for the apartment was unjustified. The Bungalow was 25-30 minutes away from the town. Nearly 10 km. Didn’t like the Breakfast. Food was always cold

We appreciated that one of the rooms was upgraded. The room she was supposed to get was shown and she said that it was basic. The view was amazing The shower was good with good hot water.

Lovely beautiful and peaceful location with wonderful views and lovely rooms. Was wonderful to wake up to and ate breakfast on the balcony admiring the hills. Ella is very busy and planters bungalow is in a much more chilled location, so glad we stayed here instead! Food was lovely too. A great experience.

A common area to enjoy a drink or relax with a book in the bungalow itself would have been good, however our balcony was gorgeous.

The location is sublime - our room had panoramic views and we enjoyed watching the wildlife, particularly the monkeys swinging in the tree canopy. Our room was spacious, exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff are warm, welcoming and friendly. A highly recommended stay.

There was building work going on to build a new kitchen. It was a bit noisy but luckily we were out exploring each day so didn’t impact us too much. If you wanted downtime at the accommodation it would have been noisy from our rooms but other rooms nearer to the pool wouldn’t have been impacted as much.

The location was stunning, rooms were good and the service was exceptional. Every member of staff wanted to help if they could.

The pool was cold. We had an unfortunate experience where one of us got locked in the bathroom due to a faulty latch. The staff assisted in opening the door for us. There was also a brief power outage which coincidentally happened when we were locked in the bathroom.

The kitchen is currently far from the dining area, therefore that meals were delayed and cold. There are renovations happening to move the kitchen close. The work is noisy and disruptive. The hotel will be much better when they are finished.

The view and the gardens were excellent. The location is quite lovely. There is a good pool at the hotel.

It is further away from Ella than expected, but it’s easy to go there by taxi.

Beautiful location with an impressive view from the rooms, very relaxing atmosphere and great swimmingpool. Super friendly, service minded team! They gave us an upgrade of one of the rooms and we could stay longer in the room because one of us got sick.

There’s a lot of bugs, not the resort fault. The monkeys are crazy, aggressive, banging on the glass doors to get in again not the resort’s fault. The room is very spacious, but does need to be updated., plugs are in different spots to actually be useful. The grounds are incredible however

The lush Gardens just beautiful. Seriously the best part was the monks chanting in the morning like 530 to 630 sunrise. Also sunrise over the mountains exquisite view. Incredibly calm, peaceful, joyful. The staff went over and above, seriously! You were there for my daughter’s 29th birthday and she was vegan. They decorated the outdoor table with balloons and a happy birthday sign and give us all kinds of wonderful foods all of the vegan that she could enjoy. If you wanna place where they’re gonna go the extra mile even if it is a little updating or it’s pretty far off seems to be worth it as long as you don’t mind those monkeys.

The monkeys were a bit bad that’s nature… but they banged on the glass doors to try to get in, The place is really lovely, but obviously needs a little update and plugs are difficult to use

We love the beautiful gardens in the birds. The staff was so incredibly kind and a special birthday for our daughter who was traveling with us… Adult 29-year-old daughter. She is vegan and they totally made a menu for her outstanding.

Just worth flagging it’s 20 minute away from Ella with the restaurants etc

Amazing property - absolutely beautiful views over Ella Gap which is what you’re there for! Food at the hotel was great, especially the breakfast in the room, and the pool and surrounding area/plants were beautiful. So quiet and calm, great way to enjoy Ella. Location for us worked perfectly, about 20 minute drive from Ella town but if you hire a scooter or just grab tuk tuks you to a great drive.

Do be aware that, being close to the jungle and a temple, there can be some natural nighttime noises (monkeys, chants). Nothing extreme—just part of the experience of staying close to nature.

This hotel near Ella is a true gem if you're looking to relax in nature. Located about 12 km outside the city, it offers a peaceful, green setting with absolutely breathtaking views. The pool area is beautiful, breakfast and service were excellent, and the room was spacious and very clean. It’s the perfect place to unwind away from the crowds Overall, a beautiful and serene place to stay near Ella. Highly recommended if you're after calm, comfort, and amazing views.

Nothing to dislike.

This is a beautiful small hotel with excellent rooms and stunning views, about 15 minutes from bustling Ella. The location, in landscaped gardens, is charming and eating breakfast and dinner al-fresco is delightful - and the food is excellent. All of the staff were so friendly and pleasant, making our stay so very enjoyable. Highly recommended.
