Clean, spacious and simple spot. Stayed in the newly constructed room with the forest view. Enjoyed the peaceful stay. Steps under construction so slightly difficult for old folks. Otherwise, no issues whatsoever. Very attentive and helpful host.

We stayed here in June and we had a wonderful time. Our bungalow was up in the trees with a view of the temple and the incredible sunsets. We enjoyed wonderful breakfasts surrounded by fruit trees and birds. We ended up staying a little longer to make the most of it. We also really liked the tuk tuk driver who took us to various different sites.

The hotel is located at the end of a dirt road. So walking with 4 cases and 2 children would've been very tough. The owners did arrange a tuk tuk to take our luggage up to the room but upon check out they had charged 500lkr (to Ella centre was only 300lkr and longer journey).

Staff were super friendly and breakfast was great each morning. Room was great for a family of 4. Hotel is a short tuk tuk ride to the restaurant and bars of ella.

WOW! This place is from out of this world. Probably one of the most amazing places we’ve been. It feels like you’re in a tree house in the middle of the jungle. It’s really magical, at least for us it was. The owner is thoughtful, kind and an amazing host. We would definitely come back!

Placed in the middle of nature, beautiful view, quiet only nature sounds, big balcony in the Height with a really nice view, room is really cozy, good beds, warm water, a lot of big Windows to watch nature outside. Host really kind and sweet. Good food. Free WiFi.

we truly enjoyed our stay at this lovely accommodation. The host was incredibly helpful and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The location is perfect just a short walk from Ella city center making it easy to explore the area. Every morning, we were treated to a delicious breakfast that we looked forward to each day. The sweetest and kindest young couple ever💖 they will do anything for you! At least they did it for me, I had few problems and after my stay in their place they still help me with it and contact me the next day to check on me. Their breakfast was the best I had in Sri Lanka!!! I did not want it to leave…..I want it to stay longer at there place but sadly was booked!

The best place to stay in Ella. Amali and her husband are so welcoming and made our stay perfect. The Guesthouse is surrounded by beautiful nature and you get a really nice breakfast at your own terrace with a great view. You reach the town of Ella within 10 minutes walking through a tea field. Amali gave us good advice for our stay and her husband took us to some places by tuk tuk which was very convenient. She also arranged the transfer to Udawalawe with her brother who is a really nice guy as well and made this day also special with a lot of nice stops on the way. I don't think you get anything better in this area.

We had such a nice time at Garden Pepper Resort! Situated just outside of the city of Ella. The views are amazing, the jackfruit and other fruits are hanging on the trees around the apartment and due to the many windows, you really feel like you are in the jungle. We were blown away by the beautiful bird we spotted. The beds are spacious and comfortable. Our daughter really enjoyed sleeping on the upper bed. All in all, a relaxt escape from the bustling city of Ella in the middle of nature with a lovely host. Amali will do everything to make you feel at home.

Quiet place located in the middle if the tea plantations in a walking distance from the main street. Nice view on the temple Kumbalwela Asapuwa. The owner is very welcomming and helps you with everything. Nice breakfast at the balcony.
