One minor issue: the washroom door needs a fix as it can’t be locked, but it’s just a small thing.

PearlDrop Waves Mirissa is such a wonderful place! The view is amazing, and it’s just a short walk to the beach. The stay is clean and cozy, and the host is very helpful. They even provide massages, which made the experience extra relaxing. I absolutely loved this place and highly recommend it.

I'm just looking for something to write here but have next to nothing. I guess the bathroom could be better ventilated even though there is a window? I don't have any real criticism. If you are lucky enough to find availability here book it for as long as you can.

By far my favorite place I've stayed in in Sri Lanka (stayed in higher and lower budget places all around the country). Kindest staff who are beyond accommodating - every ask I had was fulfilled in seconds with someone knocking at the door. Their breakfast genuinely should not be free it's insanely delicious. Seriously some of the best curry I've had here. Go for the Sir Lankan breakfast but they also have a banging western option. Clean enough to appease even the most hyper-hygenic guests. The view from the room is just ridiculous with a pampering balcony, cool AC, and a fan option too which I sometimes even preferred in the evening. The manager is a phenomenal, hardworking, and honest guy who will connect you with any activity you're interested in with the best people, for the best price.

The property had a stunning ocean view and a peaceful atmosphere. The terrace with the swing seat was perfect for relaxing and enjoying the sound of the waves. The location was great, very close to Mirissa beach and restaurants.

Everything was perfect

What an amazing place this is! The rooms and bathrooms are clean and well maintained, the view was spectacular from the room. The pool was lovely. The manager, Eranga made our stay absolutely incredible, he accommodated all our needs. The entire staff gave spectacular service for the time we were there. The food was AMAZING! We actually preferred eating there than going out. I cannot recommend this place enough, we will definitely be back on our next visit to Mirissa. Thank you PearlDrop Waves.

Might be nice to have extra blankets in the room, as a westerner I am used to a duvet and one sheet meant I was a bit cold!

Beautiful location, very close to the beach. Staff incredibly friendly and accommodating. Beautiful pool and roof top terrace, comfy bed, great, hot shower room. Breakfast was delicious and the devilled prawns we had for lunch were too.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The cleanliness is impeccable, the decor is very pleasant, and the sea view is beautiful, both from the room and the rooftop. The pool is clean and calm, perfect for relaxing. The rooftop is well laid out with comfortable chairs. Eranga is very welcoming and speaks English and Tamil, which is a big plus. The sri lankan breakfast and the service were really good. It is located near the coconut tree Hill (7/8min by walking) and the parrot rock ( 15min by walking) , so close to touristic attraction.

This place has everything you could wish for, the views are amazing, the breakfast was delicious everyday and it's just walking distance from coconut hill. We loved this stay more than any other we've visited in sri lanka and we really hope to come back. Both scooter rental and laundry service is just in the area. Thank you so much for the stay!

It is not very child friendly, we were with a small 2 year kid, the rooms, stairs and balcony could be little danger for a small kid. Also they did not had a child chair at the hotel restaurant because of which my child couldn't sit properly and had to stand to eat his meal or drink, Unfortunately he slipped a bit which is why his glass of water fell and got broken, after which Mr. Mano was very concerned and he only offered plastic utensils to my son. The owner promised to make it more child friendly soon!

It is a decent hotel at this price with the owner Mr. Mano too much involved in all the daily proceedings. He was able to guide us through out our stay on all near by places, meals even arranged tuk tuk for us. Very friendly person! Hotel has a decent swimming pool and has all basic features for a good hotel. Very good breakfast too!

It was an excellent place to stay, quiet, quaint and close to a beautiful beach, albeit not for swimming. We enjoyed the comfortable rooms with gorgeous views, delicious food and wonderful hospitality. We loved being off the grid a little too, but easily accessible to Mirissa beach, shops and restaurants. The manager was so friendly and very professional. The two cooks cooked Sri Lankan and western breakfast beautifully. The other staff were lovely and discrete and kept and wonderfully tidy and gorgeous establishment. Highly recommend!!!!!

Everything was great! The place is near the coconut tree hill. There is a small beach near the Hotel but the mirissa Beach is also in Walk distance. The breakfast was perfect, we had the choice between western or Sri Lankan breakfast. From the rooftop there is a great view of the sea. The room was clean and the bed really comfortable. We were really happy with our stay.

Beach walking distance 200m.. very helpful host and would guide u very well for various activities and travel in Mirissa

The property is quaint and silently placed one lane away from the beach. From your balcony, your view is as divine as a piece of art with the coconut trees, the sound of waves, the call of peacocks and a vast horizon. The manager was extremely straightforward about what one can get to do at Mirissa and in accordance to your budget, he would suggest the list of places we could go to. Cleanliness and hygiene of the property was top notch! I liked the way Eranga, the manager asked us for our breakfast options and when we mentioned that we are slightly home sick where food was concerned, he ensured we had a sumptuous meal including stringhoppers, chicken curry, sausages, bread and eggs. This is a very nice place with a small pool which is also maintained well. I would rate this property quite high for the homely feel they give you!
