Bathroom was a little dated but good hot shower so can’t complain

Was a last minute booking & only for one night. The room was large & the bed comfortable Two flights of stairs up but the breakfast room was only one floor below us. The staff could not have been more helpful & were genuinely concerned for our comfort The Sri Lankan breakfast was delicious I asked & they had no problem providing it even though there was a fresh breakfast buffet provided

Small critique would be there was no turndown service in the rooms. Room could perhaps have a done with a daily sweep and freshening of linen.

Nice property in a good central location. Staff were friendly and very helpful, going above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. Great value for money. Shower in the room had great water pressure and temperature. Property is short walk from Victoria Park. Breakfast included within our package which was delicious. Dinner also available at the restaurant.

This hotel is a quaint vintage property close to the city centre. The staff were extremely hospitable specially Mr.Robson who ensured that every request was taken care of. It was value for money.

It is an old facility. There is no heater in the room but there are blankets so it was not cold during our sleep. A bit pricy for the facility

The location is perfect. The rooms are big with the nice view. The breakfast is okey.

Unfortunately the bathrooms need some love. Bad smell, old and nowhere to put toiletries. Not greatly maintained. Apart from that all good!

Roshan the manager really looks after the customers. He wants to provide a good customer service and you can see how attentive he was to our needs. Good location.

Staff were very friendly. Room size was good. Room had balcony of victoria park. The hotel is near the center where u find many shops, restaurants, bus station and other attractions.

The room felt a little damp initially, which we realized can be a problem of the Nuwara Eliya area.

The hotel room and bathroom were both spacious with comfortable chairs and desk/table and chairs, fridge, kettle etc. Our balcony overlooked the park. The shower was hot and powerful. The Manager, Nissa, was charming and helpful and all of the staff were warm and friendly. The restaurant provides a lovely buffet breakfast and menu of food in the evening. The location is perfect, just a 5 min stroll into town.

This hotel is well positioned with a nice balcony over looking the botanical garden. The room was big and very comfortable, the staff attentive. Breakfast was average but plentiful.

Nice hotel with staff that really want to make the place better. I'm guessing they had some issues as they were very attentive and helped whenever we asked. Communication was great. We stayed for 1 night before getting the train the next morning and slept really well.

Family room is on top of the hotel, seems it’s an extra floor made, and there is not an elevator. Although hotel staff helps you to take the baggage, it’s equally tough for them.

hotel is located a 10 minute walk from town and would have been an uphill return had we not got a tuk tuk for 300R

it was a grand and impressive hotel in its day, but like all older hotels a lot of the electrical plugs and plumbing are a bit dodgy. i really liked the buffet breakfast (gave extra point for this) and would happily have paid for this if it wasnt already included in our deal.

Toilet was leaking and due to this floor was always wet. Accessing the hotel entrance by foot was hard due to uneven surface and unsealed road.
