The hotel is a bit dated but the rooms are nice and the sheets are clean. The staff are absolutely lovely and the hotel was well located for exploring Nuwara Eliya. The restaurant and breakfasts were good.

1. Some of the rooms were very smelly and difficult to stay in. 2. Layout of the hotel isn’t great and second floor rooms are where the restaurant is, so not good 3. Upkeep needs to be better

1. Rodney at the front desk and the staff Nawaa and Sunil, were super helpful and nice. Chef Anis cooked really good meals and we had dinner for two straight nights. 2. Lake view room is really good specially on the first floor. 3. location is great and in a non noisy place of the town

Very basic accommodation. Old and not well-maintained. The rooms had a musty smell, the ceilings were mouldy, maintenance was poor. The stay was absolutely not worth the money.

The only good thing was the staff — they were very friendly and helpful.

I wouldn’t stay here again and am surprised by its high rating. Despite our confirmed reservation, we were told the hotel was fully booked—yet they somehow found us a room. It was nothing like the pictures: small, cold, and extremely humid. Breakfast was mostly local dishes, which was fine, but we found it odd that some guests were offered eggs or an omelet while we were not. That said, they did prepare them when we specifically asked. Overall, there’s nothing that would make me return. I’m sure there are better options nearby.

The location is quite convenient if you have a car.

This place is absolutely stunning! We had a lovely comfortable and cozy room with a huge window overlooking the lake. The room and bathroom were both very clean and the staff was so amazing and helpful :) Everything about our experience here was great and would definitely come back!

There was no heater - I had to request a one and wait in cold. on the roof of bed room there was a motor working overnight 24hrs it was noisy and vibrating - gave us headache. Bathroom had no hot water in the shower. my son had to go to another guests room to take a shower. I had cold water shower when temperature was 14c

Staff was very corporative friendly and helpful. They were trying to compensate 1for everything property was missing. Felt very sorry for them.
