Incredibly modern room with all you could ever wish for, Nipun's family is amazingly welcoming and helpful

I had a wonderful stay at Nord Mirissa. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, and the hospitality was truly exceptional. The room and all common areas were spotlessly clean—everything was fresh, tidy, and well cared for. Breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect—just a short walk to the beach. What impressed me most was how kind and helpful the hosts were. They always made sure I felt comfortable and at home. This place exceeded my expectations, and I would happily stay here again.

There was nothing not to like!

Nipun and his parents were very welcoming, the place was immaculate and decorated well. Water and cleaning products were provided and replenished each morning. I was served a variety of Sri Lankan breakfasts which were outstanding! very big portion sizes which kept me full all day some days. 11/10! I was also treated to local style snacks and hot/cold drinks when needed, without asking! The beach is less than 10mins walk and there is a great local restaurant 2mins walk away (dewmini roti shop). No pool but plenty of places you can go for a swim if needed. I would certainly stay again. All round 10/10. Thanks to the hosts!

There is nothing negative to say about Nord Mirissa!

We stayed at Nord Mirissa for a total of 10 nights. It was originally meant to be just 4 nights but we fell in love with the place and didn’t want to leave. Our stay here was easily the highlight of our trip. Nipun and his family went above and beyond to ensure our stay was as special as possible (it was our honeymoon). We had lovely breakfasts and refreshments prepared for us every day. The rooms were gorgeous and comfortable. The location is perfect- a 5minute walk from the beach and all the top restaurants/cafes. Nipun helped us organise day trips e.g to Galle and organised us a rental scooter. We would love to come back sometime!

The hosts’ family were so welcoming and helpful throughout our stay, really friendly and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable! We could not ask for better hospitality. A fantastic property situated a short walk away from the beaches. The property was exceptionally clean, the breakfast was really nice and they kindly offered us a laundry service too. We would definitely stay here again!

The place was very clean and well-maintained. The owners were incredibly kind and welcoming – they even treated us to fresh coconuts and a delicious breakfast every morning. We truly felt at home and would definitely come back again. Highly recommended! A few minutes walk to the beach and the main street. Good Wi-Fi connection! :) Comfortable mattresses.

Nord Mirissa is an amazing place to stay for some nights. It’s location is fantastic! Very close to the beautiful beach! The room was very clean and cozy as well! The whole family is so nice and welcoming! So happy we stayed here!

We stayed at Nord Mirissa for 2 nights and it was the perfect base to explore the area. The location was ideal being a short walk from the main beach, but also within easy distance to Weligama by Tuktuk. The room was finished to a high standard and the best was super comfy. The biggest highlight for us though was Nipun and his parents who were the most incredible hosts. They were so kind and generous, and brought the most delicious breakfast to us each morning, as well as little surprises such as fresh king coconuts and some bananas from their garden. Their amazing hospitality made this stay a super memorable one and our only regret is not staying more nights. Thank you so much Nipun and family - we hope to return to Nord Mirissa in future!

We had a wonderful stay at Nord Mirissa - the room was spacious, super clean, brand new and nicely designed! From a fridge, AC to a hair dryer, everything was there :) There is a short-cut way to Mirissa beach (and you can even see monkeys there!), probably a 5-10 minute walk - there are plenty good restaurants nearby. At the same time it is not on the main road, so it is much more peaceful and relaxing. So clearly a 10/10! But which makes it even a 12/10 for us is the incredible hospitality of Nipun and his family. They welcomed us with beautiful flowers and fresh coconut, prepared us homecooked breakfast several times, brought us even tea and cake in between and helped us with infos whenever they could! Thank you very much for your kindness! We clearly recommend a stay at Nord Mirissa :)

Everything was perfect!

We felt very welcome here. Nipun and his family were so nice and helpful, bringing us things whenever we needed. So far our best stay here in Sri Lanka. The building is nearby the beach and all the restaurants, but in a quiet street away from the noise. The room was newly renovated and had everything you need, a warm shower, mini fridge, ac and working wifi. 10/10 recommend staying here.

Incredible room with everything that you need! We stayed for two nights and didn’t wanna leave honestly. Not only was the room beautiful, but everything was super clean, and comfortable and spacious. We loved it so much! The hosts are the sweetest and will make your stay super special and seemless. You get to use the kitchen, their fridge and they will help you with anything you need! Highly highly recommend going!

Our stay at NordMirissa was absolutely fantastic! Everything was brand new and modern, and the room and bathroom were spacious and had everything we needed, just like a European accommodation. We loved the communal kitchen, which we had all to ourselves, and it was fully equipped with everything we could need. The location was perfect! The owners were incredibly welcoming and helpful. It's a family-run business, and the parents of the owners are absolutely adorable. They treated us like family, cooked us a delicious breakfast every day, and brought us fresh fruit and water every day. We were very sad to leave. The owners also went above and beyond, taking us on a trip to Galle, a turtle beach, and a fish market during the weekend. They even took us to see the sunrise in a tuk tuk and arranged our transport to Negombo at a very reasonable price. I wholeheartedly recommend NordMirissa. You won't find a better place to stay in Sri Lanka.

A brand new property, Nord offered just the peace of mind, safety and comfort I was looking for. The hosts were exceptionally kind and went above and beyond to make sure I had everything I needed. It was my first solo trip to Mirissa and staying here provided me access to everything all within walking distance. I will definitely return and would highly recommend this property to solo travelers and groups who are looking for a good getaway.
