Our Bedroom located just at the entry of the resort was not the best . But anyway, we had chance to get it because All the others were booked several months before ! It’s better to take one in front of the beach .

The crows!

The resort is right on the beach. Our room was very spacious with a large bathroom. The beach was just stunning. White sand and no other tourists other than the guests. There were plenty of loungers. The restaurant was OK. There was reasonable variety. The staff were very attentive and service was good. Biscuits and snacks, along with drinking water was provided in the room.

There is a large murder of crows on the property, which became pretty irritating after a couple of days.. nonstop growing and even stealing food from the plate plates. Not sure what can be done about it, but it seemed like they weren’t that bothered about it…

What’s not to like.. amazing location with literally a private beach to ourselves as there are no other resorts nearby, incredible bungalow right on the beach front, a nice and clean swimming pool overlooking the beach, good quality, food, and excellent value, and very friendly staff all across the property

Bit too far away from Trincomalle

you have to know that this area is a 30min drive away form trincomalee, there is nothing much nearby. Had a Frog in the bath and some flying ants in the bed. 2 gecko’s aswell in the room. but all of them harmless. no moskito net. food was a bit expansive for what it was

Stayed 2 nights at this lovely boutique resort, in a large, spacious and clean room with ocean view.. Had dinner first night and breakfast next 2 mornings and there were enough selection on the dinner menu and food was very good. Excellent breakfast both days. Great service and super friendly staff. The property was clean and well kept. Swimming pool was good size, clean and water was nice and warm. Overall loved everything about this resort and would definitely come back!

Its a place generally booked in travel agency holiday packages, so our fellow guests were (dutch) families. There was some construction going on (low season) which also killed the vibe a bit, the food is a bit expensive and aimed a bit at western families. Also a bit further away from other restaurants/places

We were lucky to find this lovely boutique resort at Nilaveli. After some adventure time in Jaffna and Anuradhapura we were ready to chill out for a few days. The staff were outstanding, super friendly and keep the place in tip top shape. Big thanks especially to Sen! The rooms are meticulously clean (as is the entire property), and we we so well looked after. The staff checked in several times on my partner who was not feeling great and offered to arrange a visit to the doctor if needed. We loved it here and highly recommend!!

It is located right in front of the beach, which is really really beautiful and enjoyable. The staff are very helpful, especially Channa in the restaurant who, even though he works long hours under great pressure, is so calm and helpful and does his best to accommodate every request and he always remembers the needs of each client

Amazing Lovely breakfast (especially on Sri Lankan new year). Ate at the restaurant 3 out of 5 nights. Has a lovely beach and loungers and a pool. Nice big bathroom. Staff were lovely.

A very laid back hotel. We were often alone in the hotel but this was because it was off season. Inspite of being alone we were offered all the normal facilites and selection of food.

Top hotel at a wonderful beach, very nice wooden cottages, friendly staff and reliable service e.g. the airport transfer. On the way from Colombo to Nilaveli and Trincomalee You are passing jungle and national parks, having wild elephants on the road, an exciting experience also, even though it is a car ride by around 5 hours. Warmly recommended!

For the price, some of the smaller details in cleaning the bathroom were missed, there was some dirt on the tap by the sink, the glass for toothbrushes on the bathroom wall wasn't clean and there was some blue liquid on the tiles by the shower (it could have been cleaning product that wasn't removed). This wouldn't put me off staying here again though! The guy in charge of the restaurant called to my room to take my dinner order in advance, this wasn't a problem but it would be useful to let guests know about this system at check in and to leave a copy of the menu in the room so that they can read it in advance rather than having to decide on the spot.

Perfect place to spend a relaxing holiday at the beach. Beautiful, large, comfortable, and well equipped rooms, excellent service on all departments, beautiful beach, very good restaurant with varied menu. For breakfast (we always took Sri Lankan) and were offered different dishes for each of the three days we spent there. You are out of town and therefore will need transportation to go anywhere. This can be easily arranged through the hotel (that has also a private tuk-tuk), but honestly, apart from a lovely three hours tour of Trincomalee city, the only thing we really wanted was to enjoy the peace and beauty of the resort. Even with heavy rain it was wonderful to sit in the room's veranda. Tip: if you are an early riser you can watch the local fishermen in the process of retrieving the nets with the catch. Fascinating!
