Nothing - we loved being in this oasis away from the busy city but close enough for easy travel.

Stunning designed building and garden in tranquil setting. Beautiful interior design. Sheema is a warm and welcoming host, and chef extraordinaire. Our dinners and breakfasts were incredible. Rooms are spacious with very comfortable beds, lovely window seats and enormous en-suites. The swimming pool is a lovely refreshing stop after a day out.

I love the interior design so much! It is a lovely family who are hosting. The breakfast was so yummy! They were really accomodating. We were so comfortable with our 2 year old toddler.

Our stay at Villa Niketh Kandy was just perfect! The owners are not only very kind people but also gave us a lot of recommendations and helped us with every question we had. The Villa is very clean, comfortable and furnished with great taste! We are very looking forward to visit their second place at the east coast! I can only recommend this place!

A beautiful house with a very stylish interior and a super comfy bed. Its location just outside busy central Kandy made for a very peaceful and relaxing stay. The hosts were incredibly warm, friendly and helpful and Sheema’s cooking was delicious! It was lovely to hear all about her family too. Highly recommend.

The property is located a little drive out of Kandy. We very much liked this as it is very quiet and peaceful. On top of that, the great interior designs and garden give an amazing vibe to the place. Shima cooks for you and loves to cook amazing local dishes!

However, there were a few minor details that could have enhanced the overall experience. It would have been great to have water or a mini-bar in the room, as well as some glasses for convenience. Additionally, a coffee machine would have been a nice touch, though the hosts were kind enough to make us coffee whenever we asked. Overall, while these small details were missing, we truly enjoyed our time at Niketh Villa and would highly recommend it!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Niketh Villa. The location is conveniently close to Kandy, offering a peaceful escape while still being accessible to the town. The villa itself is simply stunning, and we were truly inspired by the attention to detail in every corner – from the room to the pool and dining area. Each space was thoughtfully designed, making it a perfect retreat. The breakfasts were amazing, served fresh every morning, and the hosts were incredibly accommodating, always striving to ensure our comfort.

This home stay property is simply stunning. Off the beaten path, a bit hard to find, but a lovely experience. We had dinner & breakfast there & the food was wonderful. The family is warm & welcoming, amazing hosts. Not to be missed if you are looking for quiet, elegance & loads of hospitality.

Everything was perfect !

We had an amazing stay at this beautiful villa, which is decorated with so much taste. The warm welcome from Sheema and her daughter Shahi made our experience even better – they are both very friendly and gave great recommendations. We had dinner on-site, and Sheema cooks the best Sri Lankan dishes! The room was extremely comfortable, very clean, and the bathroom was spacious. We absolutely loved our stay and felt right at home! Thank you for everything.

Very stylish example of modern tropical Sri Lankan architecture. Great art collection. Outstanding hospitality from Sheema and her helpers. Georgeous landscaped gardens to relax in out by the pool. Very high hygiene standards throughout. Dine-in and be spoilt by Sheema with her spread of excellent local dishes. We loved the chicken curry and sweet & spicey pineapple curry 🍍

Villa Niketh is absolutely beautiful, our room was large, airy and extremely comfortable. We could not have been made to feel more welcome. Sheema our host is a superb cook and we had beautiful, authentic Sri Lankan cuisine both in the mornings and in the evening. It is a stunning home stay property.

We had a brilliant time at Niketh Villa. Sheema was a fantastic host, very accommodating, friendly and welcoming! Rooms were beautiful and spotlessly clean. Fabulous food made by Sheema we really recommend paying a visit! 10/10 service. The swimming pool was also lovely and very picturesque. Sheema went over and above to celebrate a special birthday we were celebrating, it made it even more special - thank you Sheema! It was a fabulous place to stay and we would definitely return.

Beautiful villa which is very tastefully decorated. Extremely comfortable room with lovely bathroom. Pool area is fabulous and very welcome after a day of sight seeing. Hosts were amazing, a lovely family who were so hospitable & welcoming. They gave us great tips for travelling around Sri Lanka (which we wish we had known sooner!) as well as lots of recommendations for our onward journey (which tried and tested, have all been great). Can't recommend this place enough. Although the villa is located slightly out of Kandy, you will be glad you stayed here rather than in the centre of Kandy as it is so peaceful and only a short and inexpensive tuk tuk ride from the centre! We would recommend this place to anyone and hope to be back one day :)

On vacation in Sri Lanka and passing trough Kandy for 2 days, we received a very warm welcome from our hosts Shiha and Nigel! Everything was perfect, the house is magnificent, spacious, fresh and finely decorated! We loved Shiha's dishes, excellent cuisine!
