Natraj Guest house is a lovely place to spend a few days while enjoying the nearby beach. The room was clean, the bed comfortable, and the staff very friendly and always ready to help. There is also a spa on the premises and the massages were fabulous!

Some details could have some improvement, like the WiFi. It was quite weak and often not really usable. The toilet seat in our room needs replacement.

It is a fine hotel and well located close to the beach and restaurants. Staff is friendly. The bed and chairs in the room are very comfortable and it was nice to have a small desk in the room

Noise levels if you're an early sleeper and early riser. Very loud even with earplugs. Should be great for night life lovers though! The beds were a little thin and creaky.

Sura (the owner) and the team here are incredible! So friendly, welcoming, and super helpful with suggestions on transport and food places. There is also a little puppy as part of the team , so you enjoy spending time with her too! 😍 The room was spacious and very clean! They provide plug-in mosquito repellent too, which is great! Great hanging options for clothes and towels around the room. Also, there is an area on the roof to dry clothes! There is a spa attached to the hotel, so there's lovely calming music to create a great atmosphere! Amazing food places so close, so you can try a new place every day! There's a mix of local and posh western food. The location is amazing! Right on the beach. (This can be an issue on weekends though, if you aren't into night life, as it can get really loud until quite late, even with earplugs in).

The location is great by the beach. There is also a very relaxed and peaceful energy and environment in the guest house. Niro and Sura are both incredibly kind and wonderful hosts.

Bed very old and creaky. Biggest problem was the curtains were essentially see through and lets the light extremely easy, the owner and other people were very loud early in the morning that woke up each day, do not book here if you like a lay in.

The property is not beachfront, as mentioned in booking.com. The beach is however very close. Keep that in mind. The non A/C rooms are extremely hot. I could barely sleep in mine. Please take a room with A/C because it’s a sauna in the dry season There are a lot of ants and insects coming into the room. I got a bit a few times throughout the night

Fabulous location, extremely helpful hosts, really clean rooms. When we stayed we were the only guests, over the new year, but they were getting ready for the upcoming season. Nothing was too much trouble, and although there wasn't a kettle or fridge, they were happy to make me a cup of tea when I wanted one. They have big plans and I think that with their determination and talent they will have one of the best accommodation places in the area...

The property was a bit dated and not particularly clean. But for the price can be expected. What I didn’t like is the receptionist lied to us and said buses were not running (on a Sunday) to try and get us to take a tuk tuk that they owned. After 5 minutes of waiting a bus arrived…

The location was very good for tourist area of Uppuveli. Very close to the beach and fernandos bar. Very cheap price for area and location.

The room on booking was advertised with "sea view" but it was not, it had only a small window on the adjacent house... The bathroom well, was not really ok, the shower was right above the toilet, so every time you took a shower you wet the entire toilet and floor, the bathroom door was like one of those you take from a construction site with still the sticker of the advertisent on and it didn't close... The shower also was only one temperature, freaking hot in the day and just a bit warm at night, and there was 4/5 watern knobs but not even one for cold water. Also, we had a Coca Cola bottle right next to the sink with some blue liquid inside probably left from someone before or from the cleaning crew, we still don't now what was inside. You can see it in the photo. Only reccommended for a short stay.

Really close to the sea, location is a plus, room is clean and staff is really helpful. The air conditioning system was functioning properly and is a must in this area if you don't want to sweat even at night.

What a gem of a hotel! From the efficient check-in/check-out process, each moment was delightful. Also, the hotel has a very secure and safe environment I have stayed at a dozen hotels in uppuweli alasgarden beach road trincomalee srilanka. This was on the top of the list of best stays/experiences ever. The friendly and helpful staff were there for every need of mine. Thank you so much.

I had such a wonderful stay here. I originally planned to stay for 3 nights but ended up extending for another night — and I will definitely stay here again when I return to Trincomalee. The room was clean, comfortable, spacious, and even with just the fan on, it felt cold and refreshing. The water pressure was strong, which I really appreciated after long days out. I was also super satisfied with the lighting — the room was really bright, which I loved, especially compared to other places I’ve stayed at. The location is fantastic — just a 2-minute walk to the beach, which is the perfect spot to chill, and there are lots of restaurants nearby. On top of that, I had the best massage at the spa upstairs! What truly made my stay memorable was the amazing staff. Everyone was so nice and accommodating, always making sure I was comfortable. They often offered me free tea, and I even got a free dinner on my last night! Sura, the owner, was super friendly — I never felt alone because he would always take the time to chat and share great recommendations. I especially loved the sunset spot he told me about! I can’t wait to come back, not just to visit Trincomalee again, but because of the wonderful experience I had here. Highly recommend!

Lovely guest house! The owners are incredibly helpful and kind - organising activities, Tuktuk’s and recommending what beaches to visit. One of us was sick while we stayed and they helped organise a Tuktuk and what dr to visit. Location was perfect! Right opposite the beach (30 second walk). The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable and the aircon works well. I stayed on as a solo female traveller and safety wise I would 100% recommend. Hopefully I can visit again one day ☺️.

Amazing guest house, that has kind of an hostel vibes because of the common space. The location was really close to the beach, which was perfect. The room is very clean, the pillow super comfy too. We had very good sleep in that place The owner is also very friendly and helpful. He recommanded restaurant but also boat drivers to go snorkeling! We both really enjoyed our stay 😊

Booking it says it got free Wifi, but when I go they refuse to give WIFI password. Booking.com should be responsible for promising incorrect facilities to guests. I wouldn't have book this place if I don't get Wifi. Dissapointed.
