Reviews of Namara Green Ella

A real haven of peace, with beautiful architecture and stylish decoration. The room was stunning, breakfast was delicious, and the location is perfect to explore Ella while enjoying tranquility.

Nothing at all, everything was perfect.

The hotel is small and very new. Our room was very spacious, well appointed and modern. The bed was very confortable and there was aircon. The room had also floor to ceiling glass doors opening to a balcony with views of the forest. The location is very convenient too, as the hotel is only a 3-5 minute tuk tuk ride from the center of Ella. Overall, a very good standard. What stood out for us as well was the above and beyond kindness of Saman, the hotel owner, who helped us with some logistics issues for our trip. A big thanks to him. We will certainly stay at Namara Green again if we go back to Ella at some point.

Clean, modern and comfortable with a lovely outlook into the trees. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful.

The ventilation could be improved as there were lots of bugs and the room smelled a little musty. There were also power cuts and construction, so one night we slept without AC or power. The property is out of town, so you’ll need to get tuktuks.

Amazing staff, comfortable room

Slightly out of the main stretch of ella, the tuk tuk that was booked through the hotel ripped us off big time.

The rooms were clean and modern

All of the marketing material shows beautiful views but you need to specifically request that. Our room was on the lower floor and looked onto some random plants. There are no common areas within the hotel which look out so no other way to see the view. It is a fair way out of town. The water pressure was lacking. We did not experience the friendly service everyone else describes and our interactions were functional at best. No bar fridge or safe in room and hair dryer/iron board in communal area.

It was the perfect 2 night stay if you’re visiting Ella. It is close enough to the Main Street but far enough to allow for relaxation and peace. The staff were amazing and the room was modern, spacious and spotless. Breakfast was also great.

The water pressure in the shower could have been stronger but that is my only complaint, everything else was perfect

It was such a cute place! Very clean, modern and the staff was adorable and super helpful. The hotel works with a tuktuk driver who can drive you to the center, or wherever you want, for a decent fee. Beautiful view and peaceful location.

The hotel is right by the road which is a bit of a shame. Check out is quite early at 10:30am latest. Breakfast is quite basic and western style.

Modern boutique hotel located near Ella. The staff was really friendly. The beds were good and breakfast was tasteful.

Due to the jungle environment the air is very humid. It is difficult to ventilate the rooms which leads to some mold here and there and towels or wet clothes that don't dry well. This is the case for all the hotels in the area. The rooms are however clean and new towels were provided daily which was nice.

Very nice and comfortable room. Lots of space. Big bathroom and hot shower.

Small and basic breakfast. Could be a bit more complete. 10 min Tuktuk ride to Ella center which adds up. You can walk but a bit risky at night with the cars.

The room was very clean and the large floor to ceiling window/door gave plenty of light and a view of the mountain jungle. The host was very friendly and helpful.

We loved the convenient location of this hotel, nestled just minutes from the center of Ella and a quick 10-minute tuk-tuk ride to the iconic Nine Arches Bridge. The staff were friendly and welcoming, with good English skills that made communication easy. Our room was impressively spacious and spotlessly clean, offering a comfortable retreat after exploring. The bathroom was nice with a pleasant shower, though the water pressure could have been a bit stronger.

Not sure whether we liked or disliked this, but it was strangely surprising that the hotel sold (vintage) high-end clothes. It was fun to look at it, but didn’t really fit the hotel vibe.

We stayed at this hotel for five days and we loved it.Beautifully equipped,quiet,within a walking distance from Ella.Supernice hosts. Clean, comfortable and smelling so nicely.High value for money.

Beautiful property, lovely staff and caring owner. We saw a mongoose and incredible bird life.

Breakfast while served by wonderful staff wasn't great. They do not offer dinner, but after a long journey, it would be good to have that option. White Rabbit is an excellent option down the road.

No TV in room and stairs down to our room were dangerous as they were open on one side.
