Response from the host was a bit slow, however communication always worked in the end.

The room was spacious, clean, and smelled amazing - which made the environment so relaxing. The beds were so comfortable and the breakfast large and fresh. We also appreciated being just a few steps away from many restaurants and the main road. We loved our stay and would definitely recommend booking here.

Nothing we did not like

Stayed with our family for a few nights to visit Mirissa. The room was spacious and had everything we needed. The location was great — close enough to walk to the main strip where there are some good restaurants. We had breakfast at the property, which was lovely. There’s also a great rotti shop and Milky Wave café nearby. We would stay here again when visiting. The staff were friendly and accommodating throughout our stay.

A very modern and impeccably clean place located right in the heart of Mirissa. If you’re looking for somewhere to stay, this is definitely the place. The staff are exceptionally friendly, always smiling, and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. I also had breakfast here which offered a variety of items, and it was excellent and fresh!

We enjoyed our stay there a lot. Its a soundproof room. Everything was clean but the washroom could be better. The staff was very helpfull but I think they are not available after evening. Bonus we got: last morning I weakup with a loud voice and after I check, I just found a peacock was roaming on our lawn.

Only the Wifi was not working very good.

The location of Moringa Mirissa was very near to the beach and in general was worth the money. The breakfast was amazing and the staff was extremely friendly and professional, which is the most important! As a solo female traveller I felt very safe! I recommend Moringa Mirissa 100%

I booked four rooms, two of which were slightly smaller. The bathrooms require better design, particularly the positioning of the basins as they are not suitable for shorter individuals and children. The entry road must be good.

I LOVED this property.

This was exactly what I needed to rest and relax at the end of my trip. Super clean, minimalistic, the breakfast was just outstanding, especially the Sri Lankan. The freshest and tastiest Sri Lankan food I had in this place! Thank you! There is a huge construction site next door. I am super sensitive to sounds but the rooms truly are sound proof, I almost could not hear anything. So it is not really a minus, just an observation.

Oftentimes there was no one at the reception so you had to wait a bit longer till somebody came.

It was a super modern, clean hotel in a quiet but still very connected area. The rooms were very big, clean and comfortable and had a lot of storage for your luggage. It has Air conditioning and basically everything you need. The breakfast was wonderful and probably the best I’ve had in Sri Lanka so far. Wifi was great, hot showers, close to the beach and the main road… I would definitely recommend it !! :)

I spent just one night at Moringa, but really enjoyed my stay. The room is HUGE. There are high vaulted ceilings, and the polished concrete interior gives a really clean aesthetic which makes sense in a beach town. Every part of the hotel was so clean, from the beds to the rooms and every corner of the bathroom ( which is also huge). The bed and pillows were really comfortable, and air conditioning worked well. The staff were very helpful to get me checked in quickly after I booked only a few minutes before arriving. For me this was a really nice place to take a break after staying in hostel dorms for a few weeks, and reorganize my luggage before departing Sri Lanka. The beach is only a short walk. Thanks to everyone at Moringa!

Very good standard for this price! I had really good time there. Staying there was very comfortable and the manager is very helpful. I got support every time I needed. Everyone from the personel is always smiling and there is a good energy around :) Also location is amazing - very close to the beach, restaurants etc. AMAZING breakfast. Highly recommended :) Best choice for staying in Mirissa :)

Very small resort, without a real restaurant. Modern clean touch, very nice big rooms and nice bathroom also. It was a bit strange that there is no real lobby (which seem reasonable with only a small amount of rooms), so there was not always someone there, but you could reach them through mobile. We did not have the breakfast as we left very early in the morning. A/C did not work when we arrived, but they fixed it quickly during our dinner, which was great service. Overall a nice place, functional, all you need. For some longer time, it would be too unpersonal for me, but if you are looking for clean room and good location for a reasonable price in Mirissa, its a good choice!

The breakfast was very rich ( personally I enjoyed the English breakfast a lot) and the owner was very helpful. Also, the room design was one of the most modern places we have stayed in Lanka. Best AC!!! The location is quite close to Parrot Rock.
