It did not bother us at all, but one should know the street leading to the property is very steep and not suited for all drivers / vehicle types, you may need to walk a few meters.

Very clean and great bathroom. Super location, off the main street and fantastic views, yet walking distance to everything. Madushan was the most kind person one can imagine and so friendly and helpful.

The property seems fairly new — they were doing some additional refurbishment during our stay, but it didn’t really bother us since we were out exploring Ella most of the time. Just a heads up, since it’s located down the hill, there’s a bit of a steep walk going to and from town. But honestly, everything else was amazing and totally worth it!

The property offers an amazing view of Ella Rock. Tucked away down the hill, it’s a peaceful hideaway — away from the hustle and bustle of Ella Town, yet still within walking distance. The host, Uncle, and his nephew were super friendly and helpful, even sharing tips on the best spots to visit while we were in Ella. Such warm hospitality made the stay even more memorable!

Excellent place to stay, wonderful views and a great host. He also arranged a taxi for us the next day. When we were leaving we were in a rush and I forgot to pay for the stay - luckily we managed to arrange it with the help of the taxi driver. I hope it did not cause much inconvenience and I apologize once again!

The room was clean and spacious. Our room had a very good balcony overlooking a nearby mountain peak. The hosts were really helpful and provided contacts for shared taxis. Dropped us in their tuk-tuk to a bus stop. We forgot our camera in their hotel. They made sure it reached us safely. Very honest about what they are doing.

The rooms and view from the room was amazing. The staff were awesome and casper looked after us the whole trip, giving us some great reccomendations on places to visit. I left something in the room after moving onto Kandy and Casper was an absolute legend and helped to courier my forgotten shoes back to me. Will definetly be staying here again when we're back in Sri Lanka

Very good location, close to the trail to Little Adam's peak so you can easily reach it before the sunrise. Many bars and restaurants within walking distance. Nice, clean room, good breakfast. Good value for money.

It was a beautiful family run hotel. We had a great time at this place. The staff were friendly and attentive. Amazing views from the room. Good location, as it's only a short walk to the main street. Ella is a very lively place and we all enjoyed it so much.

I loved everything

The anager is so helpfull. The view from the window is amazing. The room is clean and the bad is soft. I had the best sleep in Srilanka! Breakfast was also good. I wish i could stay more.
