There was lots of ants just outside our room and it was noisy at night time.

The location was perfect. The host was really friendly and accommodating. He made us feel very welcome and offered suggestions for our stay. The pool is a lovely area to relax too!

A really good location on a quiet street. Parking available on site. The upstairs rooms are nice and airy, we stayed in a triple deluxe room. Pool was also a nice benefit. Breakfasts were excellent.

Kettle in room would have been nice .did not like bars on window as it made it feel like a jail. Don't no how you would overcome that though

It’s a nice small hotel on a very good location. The owner is really friendly and organised a nice breakfast every morning. The rooms are clean and everything you need is available.

The hotel is generally quite tired and could do with an upgrade. Our room was very hot and stuffy, warmer than outside as the air con didn’t seem to be working, we asked for a fan and were kindly moved rooms. The new room was large and spacious with good air con but the shower head just pointed at the wall opposite so had to hold it above your head when showering and lots of ants around the sink. We have been travelling Asia for nearly 5 months and the laundry was the most expensive we have paid for and unfortunately came back wet, it was rectified. Overall we have paid less elsewhere for more comfortable stays.

The location is ideal, close to the Main Street but away from the noise of the road. The breakfast is very good Nice swimming pool The man who owns/runs the hotel is very nice and accommodating and helped resolve our issues, thank you - but slightly lower score due to these issues unfortunately. We also really enjoyed the roti restaurant opposite which he recommended.

Aircon conked out a few times. Easily fixed by turning off and on again.

I stayed here for a few nights after the end of a trip around Sri Lanka. Mirissa is quite a touristy place, so not really my thing.....given that, I think I struck lucky finding this place. Its a little oasis of calm away from the main street. Staff are low key, but friendly. Big thanks to the boss man for arranging an airport taxi at very short notice. Much appreciated. Pool is small, but looked nice. WiFi is excellent. Room was clean and tidy, with proper mosquito nets around the bed. Lovely balcony to sit on the evening. Can't comment on breakfast as I didnt try.

The room was slightly on the small side and the water pressure in the shower was rubbish.

Great pool area, good wifi, air con and decent breakfast all included. Good location a short walk away from the main road/beaches so nice and quiet but still close to restaurants and bars. Run by a lovely, helpful family!

Room was a little on the tired side and needs some TLC. For example, the hairdryer plug was rusty and didn't work or fit into the sockets, many of the lights in the room didn't work, fan broken and only one plug socket worked. Room was small and dark with a tiny window. In fairness we didn't ask to change and we should have asked to do this (our error) - we stayed two nights. WiFi patchy at best and not sufficient for work video calls- had to use own data - not a big issue for many just on holiday but worth noting as I do need to work whilst travelling as some may also need to do. Although issues are only minor, perhaps expect a little more for price (we paid about £25 for a night) and we've had better quality elsewhere for the same price.

The lighting in the room was a bit tricky to figure out. There was no space in the bathroom to place toiletries. The bathroom needs to be cleaned more thoroughly.

The host is very friendly. He speaks some Spanish with a very good accent. The staff was very kind. The pool has lots of sunbeds.The street is quiet and restaurants, cafés, and shops are nearby.
