The property is in a stunning location! Immediately captures the essence of Marissa , without the crowds. A calm and beautiful oasis to return to after visiting town, shopping, and restaurants. Waking up to the waves staring right at you is something we won’t ever forget! Hues of blues surround this property with special gardens and ponds that promote peace and tranquility.

We booked this beautiful villa for our honeymoon and stayed 11 nights. We loved every minute here, from the stunning and spacious sea view room with a balcony to the gorgeous and well maintained grounds - clearly something they're very proud of. Kasun and the team were the loveliest bunch! They were so helpful and happy to help with any request. We cannot thank them enough for our wonderful and unforgettable holiday! We had a fantastic stay at Mirissa beach villa, which was the best place we stayed in during our holiday in Sri Lanka. There were great sea views from the villa and we were able to totally unwind and relax in the garden and swimming pools. The food was delicious too, with breakfast and dinner being taken in the gardens overlooking the ocean which made it that much more special. All the staff were welcoming and Kasun the manager was extremely helpful. Hope to be back one day.

The property provides a very prime sea view which is accessible to both its private and public beach. The house is very well designed and well maintained. Staff are very friendly and very responsible, they try to satisfy all feasible requirements we asked for. E.g. settling up a romantic beach dinner. They even light up the tree with fairy lights. The property is not too far from the main road, but very distinctively designed to its taste. Very different from any other accommodations in that area.

Peaceful paradise, small boutique, unique quality is their exceptional personal customer service, anything you need they can source. Let them know any specific food you would like for dinner the day before and they’ll try and do it. Chef made us amazing baked whole fish and was beautiful. Great people, great food. Recommended

Food was not the best between breakfast or lunch. Very plain options. Everything is also very overpriced. Rooms look nicer in the photos than in real life.

Nice beachfront hotel. Staff very friendly. 20 minute walk to main part of Mirissa but plenty of tuktuks available. Rocky beach behind the hotel making it difficult to swim, but very private.

We stayed there for two weeks, and everything was perfect from day one. Special thanks to manager Kasun, who greatly helped us with everything - he created and organized personal trips, advised us on local restaurants, arranged transport, suggested places to visit, and did everything to make us feel like the most welcomed guests.

It is a bit out of the crowd so you will need a Tuktuk to reach the center/Mirissa beach. Pay attention that only the rooms on the first floor have a balcony/outdoor (while the ground floor ones have a fantastic semi-outdoor shower).

We really enjoyed our stay in the Beach Villa. The Manager and the Staff have heavily contributed in making it enjoyable. The fact it has only 6 rooms makes it very personal so that you can feel at home. We followed many advices/recommendations from the manager and we enjoyed them all.

The Mirissa Beach Villa was the best hotel we booked during our trip to Sri Lanka. The large room was very beautiful and had a view of the sea. Everything was in excellent condition and very clean. The pool area and the garden were also fantastic. The staff is super friendly and helpful. An absolutely recommendable accommodation!

We didn’t realise there were door hangers in the room to display when you wanted the room cleaned so we thought there was no housekeeping and only got told at the end of our stay about this! Keep that in mind and look for the hangers as we never saw them

The property is absolutely stunning, the villa looks out to the most beautiful view and the garden and pool area is immaculate. The rooms are huge and comfortable, the staff were also amazing along with the food

Very, very quiet place which was nice in the day but we booked half board so at dinner we were the only ones in the restaurant. There was zero atmosphere (not even any music) but food was great, so the second night we went to a restaurant in town. The staff were kind enough to let us swap our dinner for lunch which was great! On arrival there was not much of a welcome or reception area. Staff were friendly enough but often wasn’t anyone around if you had a question etc.

Facilities were excellent, very clean and spacious room. Lovely garden area with pool directly on the beach. Really relaxed and quiet hotel if that’s what you’re after. Short walk to coconut tree hill along the beach and turtle point where you can swim. Or a short tuk tuk ride! Nice breakfast.

Our room at the villa was large, modern with excellent amenities (the AC and bathroom especially). The property is beautifully decorated with lovely pools and situated on the beachfront with great views of the waves and tall palms. The property is just off the main road and peaceful in comparison to other areas of the beach which seem a little crowded. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The breakfast was lovely. I wish we had stayed more than one night! Highly recommend.

The location was just that bit too far to be walking to and from Mirissa in the heat of the day every day. Its easy to get a tuk tuk in but they always try and overcharge you - this is not the hotels fault but something to keep in mind. Only other minor point is that we were abit confused what was and was not included as not given a full run down when checking in so had to ask for a menu and request our room to be cleaned but as soon as we asked, they provided so may just be us not used to this type of service 🙂

The villa was beautiful. Big spacious rooms, beautiful gardens and pool. Right on the beach front but still felt secluded and private. You can eat your breakfast while watching the waves. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and helped us with anything we need. Would 100% stay here again.

Mirissa Beach Villa is a stunning property in an excellent location. Jarath & his staff were amazing. We received a wonderful welcome from Jarath. He took great care of us and is an excellent chef! The food was delicious. Our room was lovely, spacious with a beautiful view. The swimming pools are amazing, the garden stunning. We loved our stay there. It felt like paradise. THANK THANK YOU Jarath for making sure that our special occasion would be memorable. This is probably the best place we have ever stayed. I wish we could have stayed longer. We will be back one day

Staff were unfriendly and unhelpful - not once were we asked how we were finding our stay, or if there was anything we needed. Room hadn’t been cleaned very well at all when we arrived and staff weren’t apologetic. Stayed for 4 nights and housekeeping never stepped foot inside our room to tidy up. Breakfast was also distinctly average.

It’s tucked away from the hustle and bustle.

For the price, we were a little disappointed. We didn't have hot water in our room during our stay, which the manager tried to fix but failed. Our room wasn't cleaned during our stay or any new towels given, which we would have expected given the price of the property. We didn't try the food but the options weren't to our taste, which may be a personal preference. The room was spacious and comfortable, but definitely is older than the photos.

Beautiful setting and views. Garden areas were beautiful and well maintained. Right on the beach. Breakfast available whenever suited us. Helpful manager ordering local tuk tuk for us. Huge place with lots of comfortable seating areas.
