Nothing I could fault with this hotel, I only regret not booking longer. We only booked 2 nights here as we were booking our accommodation as we went along. They were booked out when we tried to extend our stay 😒

This was by far the best place we have stayed so far in Sri Lanka and the least expensive. Breakfasts were so good, the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Mimosa Mirissa is all about cleanliness, comfort and customer care. When we arrived, they welcomed us with fresh juices and a liqueur. They informed us about the access to the nearby beaches. We were able on choosing European breakfast instead of a Sri Lankan one. Our room also had its own kitchen with all the necessary equipment to cook if needed. The pool was really clean and had a really nice view to the surrounding hill. At the day of our check out we were able to access and enjoy the premises- pool included. They even have a guest wash room which we used before continuing our road trip. Thank you!

Shower was part of bathroom and needed to mop away water but not a big deal. The courtyard is a bit cluttered with tuk tuks and vehicles but again only a minor point for a very good stay.

It's a good mid-range hotel with helpful staff and a really good breakfast. The beds are very comfortable. The pool area is small but very nice. Fruit juice on arrival was a nice touch. Enjoyed the stay.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise! It’s a very new-looking establishment with a fresh, modern vibe. The staff were welcoming and professional — we were even greeted with whiskey shots along with the welcome drink, which was a fun and unique touch. The room was comfy, well-facilitated, and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. Overall, a great experience and definitely worth the price. Would happily stay here again!

Absolutely perfect — one of the best hotels we’ve ever stayed at! Everything was perfect from start to finish: the warm welcome, the beautiful rooms, the incredible breakfast, and the attentive service throughout. The staff took such great care of us and made us feel truly special. This is honestly one of the best — if not the best — hotels we’ve ever stayed at. We even wanted to extend our stay, but the hotel is in such high demand (and rightly so) that it was fully booked. They even offer fresh king coconuts to drink, which was such a nice touch. I really recommend this place if you want to be pampered in an exceptional setting. There’s even a reading room with a massage chair available free of charge — such a brilliant idea! We can’t wait to come back!

The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The rooftop pool was clean and fresh towels were provided. Breakfast was plentiful. The staff were always available for assistance if needed and any queries on activities in Marissa or surrounding areas. Close walk in a quiet area to the beach and restaurants. Massage chair a bonus and sitting area with beanbags a great place to relax

The staff was very friendly and helpful with any kind of question we had. Pool, facilities and location are great. The breakfast was delicious and on our very early check-out on our last day, they were very kind to help organizing a TukTuk and gave us a take away breakfast box. Highly recommended!

Perfect stay!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful, spotlessly clean, with delicious breakfasts and extremely friendly staff. Upon arrival, we were welcomed with a shot of local coconut arrack, fresh papaya juice, and a cold wet towel for refreshment — a lovely touch. Our room was spacious and even had a second exit to a terrace just a few meters from the stunning pool, where pool towels were always available. Every morning, after enjoying a fantastic serving of curd with honey and a fresh fruit platter, we were offered a choice between a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast or a Western-style breakfast — all beautifully prepared and delicious. Every day, we were provided with one liter of water per person and a fresh king coconut each. The staff checked daily if we wanted our room cleaned, fresh towels, extra toilet paper, shower gel, shampoo, and conditioner — amazing care for guests. The hotel also has a private gated parking area where we safely parked our tuk-tuk, and there’s even a professional massage chair available for everyone in the common area. Highly recommended — we would definitely stay here again!

No such a thing…

The property’s location is great, it’s design is beautiful, everything is very clean, comfortable and air conditioned, and the facilities have many additions such as a swimming pool, restaurant, massage armchair, resting area with beanbags, lounge etc. There’s staff was very welcoming, kind and they did absolutely everything they could to accommodate our needs and plans throughout our stay including the organisation of whale watching with external companies with pickup and drop off. Can’t recommend this place enough!! Would definitely return.
