Absolutely beautiful setting and everything brand new. Perfect location. Really good aircon and comfy beds. Lovely hot water. Nice touch of breakfast on our balcony in the morning. Would definitely recommend a visit here

I had an amazing stay at Marshmallow Bay! Everything was perfect, and I would definitely return. - Stunning Ocean Views – Waking up to the sound of waves and enjoying the view from my balcony was the best way to start the day. - Comfortable & Stylish Rooms – Spacious, spotless, and with a super cozy bed. - Relaxing Pool – Spent hours unwinding by the pool, and the view was absolutely breathtaking. - Breakfast on the Balcony – A lovely touch! Fresh, delicious food enjoyed in privacy with the ocean breeze. - Great Location – Right by a popular surf break and close to fantastic cafés and restaurants. - Exceptional Hospitality – The staff was incredibly friendly and always made sure I had everything I needed. Amazing location especially for surfers, one of the best surf break literally across the road, also you can walk to all the restaurants and bars in Ahanagama. Room are a super high level and great garden and pool area.

A relaxed boutique hotel in the perfect location! When we looked at this hotel on booking.com the first thing that struck me was the beautiful wooden shutters and the lovely pool. The hotel does not necessarily have the look of a typical Sinhalese hotel but rather of a small cozy beach hotel (exactly what we were looking for). We booked a room with a sea view. Nice to stare away and enjoy the waves but as soon as you walk into the bathroom you know that you have more than just a sea view! You look out over an incredibly beautiful piece of jungle that makes you feel as if the road next to the hotel doesn't exist. To be honest, the garden that has been created is just as beautiful as the sea view so whatever you book it is worth it. The room we had (no. 6) was spacious, clean and really cool! The shutters help with this but even if you only have a ceiling fan on you can feel the coolness that is in the room. The beds sleep wonderfully and finally a hotel where they have decent pillows. The bathroom is modern, luxurious and colorful but still balanced! Because the bathroom overlooks the jungle, you really get the feeling that you are in Sri Lanka while showering. There are still a few things missing in the room, but the manager said they are on their way! It is not bare, but there were still missing a few essential things. We hope to see them next year. The staff is friendly, they speak good English and work very hard! Due to our late arrival, the reception was no longer present, but we were greeted very friendly by the security and the man from the technical service. We were escorted to the room and we were asked for a welcome drink. We were able to pass on breakfast wishes the next day, so you could get into bed without any worries, which was very nice. The reception is amply present and will help you with all your questions! They made a mistake with the breakfast and it didn't work out with the payment the first day.

They seemed to have a huge problem with the quality of other guests, there were a lot of young, very rude, loud and generally not pleasant guests there who were smoking who knows what outside our room, and playing loud music. I felt really sorry for the staff who had to deal with it and once they improve the quality of guests the place would be amazing.

The place is amazing and the staff are so lovely, the location is perfect for the surfing and very good price considering all of the above.
