Maleesha is a wonderful host. She gave us very helpful advice about what to do in Ella and good restaurants to try. The breakfast was very tasty and she was kind to prepare a packed breakfast for the day we left early in the morning. The room was clean and it was nice to rest a bit in the porch yard in front of the room.

The room was lovely but a little damp however that could be due to the weather.

We loved the spacious room and outdoor seating area. The family who owned the homestay were so kind and welcoming. They gave us great advice about the local area and travelling around it. The Sri Lankan breakfast that they served there was amazing! Thank you!

Maleesha and her mum were amazing hosts. The room we stayed in was only 6 months old so it still felt brand new! The breakfast was exceptional and kept us going all day!

Not much. Semi cold water in the bathroom, but for us it was ok as it was hot outside. An extra shelf in the barthroom would be handy.

Maleesha was absolutely lovely and very helpful throughout our stay including an onward taxi. Great location and easy walking distance to Ella’s main road but nice and quiet. Also great walking distance to little Adam’s peak and nine arches bridge. Breakfast was hearty too!

Couldn’t close bathroom window so nervous about potential mosquitos or someone breaking in. Humidity so high that sheets and pillow always felt a bit damp - perhaps this is an Ella-wide situation.

Best breakfast in past 4 weeks of traveling - tasty, and great variety. Located away from main roads so was quiet and awoke to birds singing. Convenient location to walk to 9 arch bridge, little Adam’s peak and train station. Very friendly hosts. Appreciated having a fridge to cool beer and water.

We loved the warm welcome from Maleesha and her family. Our room was a good size with everything we needed. The location was great, an easy walk into town. Delicious and plentiful breakfasts with a choice of Sri Lankan or western. The Sri Lankan choice was fabulous.

I had an amazing stay at this hotel! From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel incredibly welcome and were always ready to assist with any requests. The room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The location was perfect, with easy access to local attractions and transport.
