The location is just perfect, peaceful and calm, still just next to the center and also not fare to the attractions. The house and the rooms are beautiful and very comfortable and clean. AC workes well, warm water (although in my opinion not necessary) too. They even have a restaurant with good food. Also you can rent bicycles. And the staff was really polite, nice, very reliable and helpful!! If you are looking for an authentic, beautiful middle price accommodation without fancy stuff like pools and so, it's definitely a great choice. And it's really a blessing to rest and eat and drink tea there, after a full day of sightseeing :)

We had a wonderful time at Little paradise the facilities are very good with comfortable rooms. The location is excellent close to town. The restaurant is excellent. The staff were friendly and very helpful and it made our stay. A real joy. I would not hesitate in recommending this guest House.

The Hotel is located in a quieter part of Anuradhapura, which suited us perfectly to get away from the hustle and bustle. There are a number of shops and restaurants just a 5 min walk away too. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They helped arrange Tuk Tuk’s to the local sites and gave recommendations for what to see. On one of the Tuk Tuk journeys the driver took us to other local attractions on the way, which was fantastic, as we would not have seen these otherwise. We ate Breakfast and Dinner here. The breakfast was delicious, and included Fruit, Toast & Jam, Sambal, Egg, and Tea / Coffee. The dinner was also lovely. We had the vegetarian option and the Aubergine and Potatoes were sublime. We would really recommend this Hotel.

I genuinely recommend this place. The room was spotless, and the whole place is beautiful, clean, and well organized. It has a lovely garden and is located right in front of a plaza, which gives it such a calm and peaceful vibe, it truly feels like a little paradise. I especially want to highlight the staff. The three people working there were incredibly kind and attentive, always offering great service. Especially Chathu, who speaks English and communicated with us, he’s an excellent host: warm, professional, and always helpful. The food was also a highlight. We had breakfast all three days we stayed and it was delicious, but the absolute winner was the rice and curry, the best we’ve had in all of Sri Lanka! We highly recommend it both as a place to stay and as a restaurant. We leave very grateful for the experience and the warm hospitality.

Calm and peaceful location

We had a completely wonderful time here. Our room was exceptionally comfortable (soft lighting, plugs and shelfs by both sides of the bed) with a soft mattress and everything we needed. Very very clean and well maintained. The most well looked after room we've stayed in in Sri Lanka. Our balcony overlooked the nature filled front garden and green if front of the property, and we enjoyed watching the birds and chipmunks. What really sets this place apart is the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food. We were welcomed like family and enjoyed many nice conversations with the staff in the restaurant and hotel who looked after us extremely well. They recommended us an excellent tuktuk driver (Lalit) who worked with an excellent tour guide (Chamal) who both made our experiences at the ancient city and Mihintale perfect. We looked forward to our breakfast and dinner every day, and sharing one rice and curry between two was always enough for us. I would recommend this place to everyone. We left feeling like we had connected with Sri Lanka in a way we had previously not been able to. We will look back on it fondly as a highlight of our trip.

Lovely homestay in Anuradhapura! Particular thanks to Danu who was so friendly and helpful. Delicious food, clean rooms with A/C and a lovely garden to relax in. We got a free breakfast for new years day and they helped us organise a great tour of the temples in Anuradhapura.

We had a very enjoyable several nights at the Little Paradise Tourist Guesthouse. We enjoy guest houses where we get to interact with other travelers and share stories and ideas. This guest house was certainly everything we had hoped for in that regard. The manager, Johnny, is accommodating, friendly, and helpful. He and his staff made sure everything went well for our stay. The breakfasts were large and hearty which sent us on our way each morning. The location in a nice neighborhood and on a park is quiet, and our room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed talking with everyone at this guest house; other travelers, the manager Johnny, and other members of his staff. We had a great stay, and we heartily recommend this guesthouse in Anuradhapura.

Spacious room with a terrace with nice view. Good mattresses. Bathroom : shower with curtain (hence not the whole bathroom is wet). Very friendly hotel owner. Takes time for talking with guests. Asks how the guests are doing. He arranges things well on request. The staff does their very best. Very polite, caring and funny. Extensive breakfast and tasty dinner. Guesthouse located in a green and quiet quarter.

Great location tucked in behind the busy streets and nearby to an open park. The host and staff were friendly, room clean and comfortable. The only thing we were a little put off by was the staff being at our door when we walked outside first thing in the morning asking us when we are checking out. Check out time is 11am as advertised on Bookings and confirmed by host but staff told us it was 10:30am and that they needed the room cleaned for the next guest checking in at 11am. We had only checked in at 3pm the day before and our room wasn't ready at that time. They needed 5 mins to finish off the clean. No complaints from us to wait, however don't like being rushed to check out. Otherwise a great stay, easy walking distance to the main streets and restaurants.

Excellent stay. Food is fantastic. Staff are so friendly and helped to organize a tuk tuk tour of the ancient city with the yellow tuk tuk was brilliant. Room was very comfortable and clean with AC.

All the team were extremely helpful and welcoming, from booking onwards. They arranged a transfer from the airport, and linked me up with Lalit, a local tuk tuk driver, who took me on yours of the ancient city, and of Mihintale. Food was delicious too! On the second night there was a ceremony, and we were invited to join the buffet, and given Sri Lankan sweets to try. A great way to to start my trip.
