Views! The sweeping views of Kandy were beautiful through floor to ceiling windows. Large spacious feel. Only 3 rooms. Very helpful staff.

Our room had thin curtains that let the light through - at least it got us up and out early though.

The property was very clean and ideally located to walk down to the lake (about 10 mins). The staff were very attentive, providing recommendations and making us feel very welcome :)

We loved everything, but if there is anything to suggest for improvement, it would be for them to invest in blackout curtains. We were up early anyway, but for anyone that wishes to sleep in, the light does come through.

10/10 stay. From the moment we arrived we were so warmly welcomed by Hemaka with a cake and iced coffee, we knew we would enjoy our stay. He made sure our entire stay was seamless and helped in every aspect possible. The room was large and had incredible views over Kandy and the hills. The water filter is a big win if you run out of drinking water. And the pool is the perfect temperate and so scenic. 5 minute walk down the hill to Hideout cafe - delicious breakfast or lunch. A massive thank you to Hemaka again for making our stay in Kandy so pleasant.

We had such a lovely time staying here! The staff and owners are incredibly helpful and welcoming. The level of service was nothing less than exceptional. The room was great and the views over Kandy amazing. We can definitely recommend Liselma Residence.

We had a lovely time staying at Liselma Residence, the hosts were great. The location is ideal if you want to be out of the main hustle and bustle of the city. The bed was extremely comfy and the ac was very good. Only thing we’d change is sun loungers by the pool and better light blocking curtains in the room.

Hemaka and the team at Liselma Residence could not have been more hospitable and helpful. This is truly was one of the most memorable and relaxing places I've ever stayed in. Perched on a hillside with commanding views across Kandy. Floor to ceiling windows filled our enormous room with natural light. Perhaps the largest and most comfortable bed I've slept in. The white walls, wooden floors and spaciousness all contribute to an atmosphere of serenity and tranquility. We felt special here. Thank you so much to Hemaka , Opisala and team. I could not recommend Liselma residence highly enough.

Amazing pool, beautiful view from our room, staff are the most kind and helpful people. They even let us do our washing for free, and they also randomly made us coffee and gave us cake! It was so good here that we actually changed our plans so we could stay an extra night. Just exceptional.

Could do with thicker curtains? Pretty much my only complaint

Host was incredibly knowledgeable and welcoming. The view was stunning. Spacious room with a nice modern bathroom. Pretty easy to get into town and a bit more quiet than the other side.

Very minor points: add some sunbeds to the pool and chairs on the rooftop terrace.

The host is extremely kind, friendly and helpful. Like your Sri Lankan dad. Location is a bit outside the main busy centre, and that's nice actually. There's a great restaurant downhill, just 5min walking.

Amazing accommodation. We would stay here for more day but it was not possible from our end. Hospitality of the man of the house was exceptional! Hopefully one day we will come back! View was amazing.

Nothing to complain about. The pool looks a bit bigger in the pictures, but ist sill nice.

The staff was amazingly friendly and helpful! We got served cake, tea and coffee for free and they even helped us paying for a TukTuk when we had ran out of cash.

Everything was perfect.

It was so peaceful, clean, excellent hosts. Short stroll (20 minutes or so) along the lake to the town. Fabulous views from the property. Use of fridge.
