The property is a bit more expensive than other places we stayed in.

The team are super friendly. The location is fantastic being just outside the hustle and bustle of Ella but still walking distance. Room was clean and spacious, good shower, lovely outdoor area with view, bottled water available, great laundry service. The breakfasts were the best in our travels!!! We walked into town a few times and took tuk tuk (400-500 rp) other times. Loved the cold afternoon beer in a cold glass outside our room!!

My husband and I loved everything about Lavendra Paradise. The view from our balcony was absolutely breathtaking. Wow! Photos don't even do it justice. Super location away from the busy streets of Ella town but still within walking distance or only a short Tuk Tuk ride away. The property owner has his own Tuk Tuk which you can hire at a really reasonable rate. The breakfast delivered to us on the balcony each morning was delicious. Such a well run, spotlessly clean and professionally run hotel. We will 100% be back and this would be our 1st choice for accommodation in Ella. Highly highly recommend!

We had a brilliant stay in Lavendra Paradise. The views from our room were amazing, we loved sitting out the front with a beer (in a lovely cold glass they provided)! It was a 10 minute walk into Ella town and it was very easy to grab a tuktuk if we didn’t want to walk. The room was very comfortable with good AC!

I loved staying here! I feel so lucky to have found and chosen this place. It was away from the main road, so nice and quiet, which was my goal. If you’re like me and you are able to/enjoy walking and being active, it’s a very simple walk to town with some hills. The view was incredible, so peaceful, you can see a waterfall! The breakfast served was HUGE and delicious, and it was as incredible to enjoy the view while stuffing yourself. A/C worked great, bed was comfortable. Transportation was arranged for me a couple of times. Staying here was a major highlight to my trip!

Everything! …from the amazing view and peace and quiet from your clean and spacious room, its 10 minute walk to town (but on-site Tuk Tuk available), chef level warm and delicious Sri-Lankan breakfasts, and the laundry service (reasonable charge). We emphasize the warmth and kind hospitality of the owner Shan and his wife, Tharuka, and staff Isuru. Shan was readily available to take and guide us to all the sites and the charges are reasonable.

Absolutely nothing!

The staff were fantastic, and the breakfast was incredible! Accommodating in every way - couldn't ask for more. The view was breathtaking, a brilliant place to stay in Ella that's close enough to walk to town, but far enough to not feel that everyone's on top of you. Perfect!

Large, clean, comfortable room in a quiet location about a 10 minute walk from the main village. Stunning view of the waterfall. A nice place to sit and relax away from the bustle of Ella. There is a laundry service and the owner himself drove us to Mirissa for a reasonable fee. Good, substantial breakfast.

The owner gave us a lift in his tuk tuk whenever we wanted one and he also took us around the sights of Ella.

Great view looking over Ella Rock and a waterfall. Breakfast is served up on the balcony, and the breakfast was delicious. We stayed two days and had something different each day - delicious. Room was very clean and large, a/c worked well and there was hot water in the shower. Shan the host has a tuk tuk to take you to town, the laundry service offered was excellent. And Lakmal was always on hand to offer us another beer after a long day of walking to Ella Rock and Nine Arch Bridge :-)

One small suggestion; add a light for the driveway as there's a dark spot when walking that could make it easier to navigate at night.

Tucked around the corner from town, it's a little haven overlooking the mountains and waterfall. It was very clean and the staff were lovely. Short walk into town (10 minutes or so).

We had the perfect stay at Lavendra Paradise. The property is a short walk from the lively Ella and the hill is a little steep coming up but easily managed for a young couple. Our room was very comfortable and clean, plenty of space and amenities. The porch area looking on to the mountains was the perfect spot to relax and was perfectly sheltered when there was a downpour of rain so we still got to enjoy being outside. The breakfast was our best in Sri Lanka - Shan's wife cut no corners in preparing a fresh, Sri Lankan breakfast for us each day and when we had a very early check out on our last morning even prepared us a delicious meal to take away with us. Shan and the others couldn't do enough for you throughout the stay and were attentive without being intrusive. Highly recommend this place for a stay in Ella!

We spent only one night at this place, but it was a truly positive experience. We arrived early, but the staff made a delicious breakfast for us. We had it with an incredible view! Our room was clean and comfy, so we regretted that we stayed there only for one night. A pretty nice place with very helpful and kind staff
