We had a fantastic stay in Nuwara Eliya! Our host was incredibly kind and spoke perfect English, which made everything so easy for us. The breakfast was delicious and a real highlight every morning. What we appreciated most were his excellent tips for activities, thanks to him we discovered the Pekoé Trail, which turned out to be one of the best things we did in Sri Lanka. We are so grateful for his hospitality and would highly recommend staying here!

Good hospitality, simple and friendly approach. Clean and cozy rooms, warm blankets, tea kettle, fresh air and decent breakfasts. I had everything that was needed. Host can give advices about hiking, sightseeings and some lifehacks. Staying in touc 🤙 Keep shinning!

The owner was brilliant, he organised our transfers to and from the train station at a good price, gave us information on restaurants, tours and places to visit. Breakfast was really good, different every day during our 3 day stay. Laundry was available at the hotel next door. A really good place to stay

The food. Best we had in our sri lanka trip so far. Also, he gave us a proper plan to roam around. Room and location is nice. Beautiful place and easy to get to the city. Also their tuktuk driver Rashik was a very nice guy. You can take him to roam around the city

Great location & area. Kalum was super helpful, and was able to provide great recommendations & take us to several different places during our visit. His friend Ruwan also was able to collect us from the train station & drop us again when we were leaving. The breakfast was also amazing!

The owner is very friendly, communicative (good English) and knowledgeable. He helped me plan my stay in Nuwara Eliya, including organising a tuk-tuk and packed breakfast for an early morning walk at Horton Plains. The room is clean and comfortable, including with hot shower (needed in Nuwara Eliya!). It is located on a hill but walkable from the city centre. Overall great value!

Amazing host, was super helpful and helped us with everything we needed to do. He helped us with the bus the next morning and gave us a lift there and gave us food to leave with too even though it was early! Couldn’t recommend this stay enough.

Nothing fanciful but functional.

The place is simple but clean and comfortable. I was the only one going to Hutton plain at 4.30 am. But kalum still woke up to make me an excellent warm breakfast. Thank u! I really appreciate that!

I arrived on a motorbike and there was no directional sign to the accommodation on the road going up the hill and Maps isn't accurate, so it was tricky to find. A small sign with an arrow would have been useful. If you arrive in a car or tuk tuk they probably know where it is.

Located on a hill just out of town but easy to walk to the centre for dinner etc. Tea and biscuits on arrival in the common longue which has big sofa and chairs. Double room was big enough but not huge. Very comfortable bed. No need for a/c or fan as it gets chilly at night here. Big comforter on bed for warmth. Clean. Good bathroom with good water pressure. Breakfast was a bit better than average. A good solid choice for Nuwara Eliya.

The accommodation is at a nice location. When you have breakfast you will have a really nice view. It’s in walking distance to restaurants, shops and more. The breakfast was really tasty, and the room was clean and comfortable, the hot shower was nice. The family will treat you much more than just a guest. We really felt like home there. The owner gave us some good recommendations about hiking and restaurant. They will do everything to make your stay beautiful

I can only confirm all the positive things been said in the reviews this month (didn't read further) : totally true in my experience. Whereby it is less the space itself (which is fine but as modest as the price of course) that deserves the highest rating, but it is the genuine care of the host! Expressed also with the generous breakfast he serves. It made me feel warm and good and will be remembered for a long time.
