Kushan the owner is lovely and has lots of great tips and a wealth of knowledge for things to see in the area. The cabin was very cute and overlooks a tea plantation.

The insulation was a bit too little and it was a bit chilly. He did offer blankets to accommodate!!! Still worth the stay, just bring a jumper! Very cozy and unique stay otherwise!

The host was a very very lovely human being. Accomodating and very helpful with local suggestions. On point with food tips. Anything we asked he would do!! He gave us tea when we got there and provided more blankets and offered us jerseys! There is a really cute treehouse outside bit that we didn’t realise we had!! The place was very artisanal and full of surprises!! Breakfast was not included but only 700 rupees person but worth every penny as the food was local, homemade and extensive!!! He was able to organise transport from the train for 5 of us and very very reasonable price. Did not try and sell us a tour The place looks out of the way on paper but the busses are really easily accessible and cheap to anywhere! Walking distance from lovers leap

Nuwara Eliya does get cold at night and experiences a lot of rain, a heater would be very helpful for guests but big blankets are provided which work well too.

Really lovely cabin, situated amongst the hills and 10 mins ride into the main town. Warm shower was great, and a very helpful host.

It is a super quiet and lovely place, a walking distance to lovers leap waterfall and pedro tea factory, the owner was super helpful and helped us with many things such as tuk tuk, traveling plans, laundry.. great location, calming place, Rooms are clean and comfortable. The breakfast was absolutely delicious and very generous too. ,

Peacful, realaxing and very calming place. The location is in front of a tea garden, 500m from pedro tea factory and 1km from loversleap waterfall.The host kushan and his mom was really friendly and helpful. Arranged everything we needed , tuktuk, traveling plans, medicine.. If you want hiking they arranged it.. will definitely recommend if you are looking for a stay in Nuwaraeliya

Such a warm welcome from the owner and his mother, who made sure everything was perfect for us. The owner was very thoughtful and arranged an excellent local tour guide at our request, which allowed us to see all the best spots in a short amount of time. And the breakfast? Absolutely amazing — both the food and the beautiful breakfast location. A definite must-visit!

La Luna Cabins was such a cozy little spot — it was a bit smaller than expected, but that didn’t bother us at all. The hosts were incredibly sweet and helpful, and the location was great for getting around. Overall, it had a lovely, homely vibe that made our stay really comfortable.

We loved everything of our staying at La Luna Cabins! Kushan and his mum are just the best hosts ever, she made for us one of the best breakfast we had in the country and Kushan is so welcoming and caring about his guests. He helped us in everything we needed: to find the right tea factory to visit, to find a driver for our car so that we could enjoy the train experience, to recommend us a nice place for dinner. We still don’t know how to thank him properly. Beside that the apartment is just stunning surrounded by green, every details are cured, everything is so clean… we are just so sad we couldn’t stay more than one night but if one day we’ll come back in Nuwaraeliya we are sure we’ll stay at La Luna Cabins.

It was clean and in a peaceful location just out of Nuwara Eliya. Kushan the host was incredible! His mum as well. The meals she cooked were amazing and he was so accomodating and caring.

It was a unique cabin, cozy vibes. Blankets and towels provided. The location was slightly out of the busy area which made it nice and peaceful. Paid for breakfast and it was cute and served nicely in a seperate platform with a view. Nice to support small local business.

The only issue was the shower's pressure and there was no hot water.

We had the bottom cabin which was roomy and and comfortable. It was cold when we were there so we were thrilled to have the lovely warm blanket to curl up in bed with. The breakfasts were varied each day mixed Sri Lankan and Western style which we ate in the comfort of their house due to the rain. An enormous amount of thanks to go to our gracious hosts Kushan and his mum. Kushan gave us heaps of tips for what to see with a details on google maps as well as helping us with our train trip and places to eat at night. He even followed up with us to ensure we found the train we needed.

Unfortunately it was very cold inside, but beside that everything was good!

Everything was nice and clean and Kushan an his mother are so nice and kind people. We asked for towels and they quickly provided us one. We appreciated also Kushan’s help for helping us planning what and when to visit.

Great host, very helpful and friendly. The downstairs room was large and comfortable. The attic room was quirky and novel and both were well presented. Nice peaceful location amongst the tea fields, yet close to the town - 10 minutes by tuk tuk.

The water pressure was poor so it was difficult to shower and use the sink. The cabin creaked when it was windy, but that was understandable. The front door window would benefit from a curtain as it is quite bright when sleeping, but overall we had a great stay.

Kushan was a lovely and welcoming host. He provided useful information about things to do in the area and arranged transport. The cabin was clean and comfortable. The view was beautiful and breakfast was good. 😊

During night is gets quite colder so a thicker blanket upstairs could be good, be sure to bring warm clothes!

The owners are soooo incredibly nice, so warm and welcoming it really felt good staying at the cabin. The cabin is so charming, recently established so everything is new and well mantained, the cleanliness is exceptional! The owner really put a lot of effort into making our stay comfortable and nice, we were offered tea upon arrival and he even managed to arrange a homecooked dinner for us, which was extremely tasty. Besides, he offered to organize a transport for us and we ended up going sightseeing with his friend Semante whom we highly recommend as he took us to beautiful places and really explained everything so thoroughly. Overall, couldnt have picked the better olace for our stay!
