Amazing place with super friendly staff that will help you with everything. They've been organizing our airport shuttle and taxi to Ella. We didn't know they also organize safari tours so definitely ask them for anything. Food options are also great.

This was a beautiful hotel with a beautiful pool! The location is perfect, key attractions are within walking distance! As a solo traveller there are lists of hostels in the area that will let you join in their activities which means you can have a little bit of luxury whilst still benefitting from staying in a nice hotel. Their Tuk tuk drove Sanka is a legend! Breakfast was the best I had in hotels in Sri Lanka!!

We really enjoyed our three nights here. Comfortable beds, strong A/C, clean nice pool in the middle of flowers, Lion rock in a walking distance. Good food, which you can enjoy on your private porch. Very friendly and helpful staff who made extra effort to create the best experience (even prepared a birthday decorations for my daughter). They also organized for us for a good price private safari to Minneriya park with very skilled guide, who knew his ways in the park and showed us several elephant herds including one with a lovely 7-days old elephant baby, while being respectful to the gentle giants and not chasing them like other jeeps. A good place to stay in Sigiriya !

Amazing home stay. The staff were attentive and made the BEST meals at the hotel restaurant. The pool area was an oasis in the jungle with a good vibe. We were able to relax and also be within walking distance of the middle of town. We would stay here again! A highlight, was sitting at the restaurant overlooking the tropical garden while eating a delicious breakfast.

We loved our 2 night stay here. The rooms are clean and comfortable, and the pool is great. We ended up eating at the restaurant one evening and the food was really good. It's a short car/tuk tuk ride away from the main street, but there are a few other hotels, cafés and restaurants nearby so you don't feel isolated and it's a short bike ride away from Lion Rock. We would definitely come back.

We loved everything about it - One of the absolute best places we have stayed!! There is only 5 rooms as you see on the picture which make it feel very special and homey. You could have the pool and garden all to yourself most of the time. The pool area is amazing. The location is so beautiful and close to the small town. The restaurant was really good and the chef makes the best food. The breakfast was amazing, the grilled fish is a much try. The staff crew was very polite and was smiling all the time, making the best atmosphere.

Only negative - we got some laundry done, which came back quite damp - however they rectified it for us with no quibbles and gave us a discount - but it did take an extra 24 hours which would be an issue if you were just about to leave. I think they sent it out somewhere so not really their fault. Ultimately the service was cheap (priced per kilo) and on the second day clothes came back done really well, so wasn't an issue for us. There were a few power cuts - but we experienced this all over Sri Lanka so think this is just the norm. We were going to ask about using the bikes on the pictures - but we saw them and they looked pretty run down so we didn't bother. We'd stay here again without hesitation!

We absolutely loved our stay here. I stayed in a trippe room with 2 children - room was basic but had everything we needed at the right price point.  Good shower, always warm water. No safety deposit box (which I knew before we arrived) but there is a drawer that locks in the wardrobe, plus outside wardrobe door locks too, which was really handy (a few more hangers in the wardrobe would be useful). Aircon worked well. Beds were comfortable. We couldn't work the mosquito nets out but decided not to bother with them and just be militant about keeping doors closed. There was a mini bar fridge in the room which we hadn't known about and was really useful. The location is perfect - just down a side road off the main road, so 2 minutes stroll into 'town' with all the shops and restaurants but nice and quiet. I believe you could walk to Lion rock - we didn't as our driver recommended driving us in case of wild elephants. This place has such a chilled vibe and the staff work so hard. Especially in keeping the pool and paths clear. The jungle setting is beautiful - monkies on the roof, little squirels and lizzards which the kids loved! We used the pool a lot and really appreciated it, it's in such a beautiful setting. You can watch the kids sat on your veranda. Pool towels are provided. Currently only 5 rooms (but space to build more) so usually had it virtually to ourselves!  Only thing I would mention is the chlorine levels are possibly too high - affected my children's hair and skin after being in there a lot! The breakfast is amazing - so much food and really tasty. We chose to eat at the restaurant a few times too for lunch and dinner - good food, lovely setting and cold beer.
