Air conditioning Mosquitoes Brake fast

It’s value for money. But location may have mosquitoes But manageable,but it’s a family running business , so not expect high end service. But small hut looks good. Air conditioning not very much efficient.( it was not working for three hours then one of the staff fixed the electrical issue ) . Breakfast just the egg and breads, But overall acceptable service. But same charges you may find better hotels but just for village look and feel from this resort.

Not an issue for us, but worth noting the shower was little more than a cold trickle and there were a lot of mosquitos around due to the amount of rain and stagnant water, so lots of DEET needed! Could benefit from a few cushions on the pool loungers. The location is a little out of the main town, so less handy if you are looking to eat out of an evening... It suited us to stay put though after busy days' exploring.

We loved our stay in the treehouse - a real novelty for the children. It is basic, but clean, comfortable and quiet, in tropical surroundings. The pool is lovely and we enjoyed the food at the onsite restaurant. The staff were really friendly and helpful, arranging fairly priced transfers and tuk-tuks for us whenever we needed, as well as an excellent ethical elephant safari that was a highlight of our trip. They even kept us supplied with delicious bananas for the duration of our stay after we told them how much our daughter loved them! Being a wooden hut in a tree in the jungle you are surrounded by nature - pet geckos, frogs jumping out of the plug etc - but this only added to our experience! The mosquito nets were fit for purpose and we just kept our luggage closed!

The circuit breaker for the A/C and water pump kept tripping.

The tree house was quirky and having the balcony was a nice touch. It might not look like you’re in the jungle but it has a jungle feel and the animals that come with that. If you don’t want to go out for dinner the owners can make a tasty kottu.

The toilet wouldn't flush. Our room was very basic. No wardrobe or anywhere to hang clothes. No real space to put anything from your case. There was a pool which was nice but the beds were so uncomfortable it was impossible to lay out there.

It's a bit outside Sigirya, so have to take a tuctuc if your not mobile on your own.

On the last night there was a large group of guests from India and they were extremely noisy, shouting outside of our room in the evening and also when they were leaving for some activity at 4:30 in the morning, they shouted and slamed doors. So we had really bad sleep, because you could hear them, like they were in the room with you.

The staff was very friendly and helpful, the breakfast and dinner were very good. Lots of greenery.

Hard to find staff at times. For example our breakfast was for 8am but no one was around, we had to go and find them.

The aircon and the pool were great. Having a verandah out front of our room was nice as well. Staff were quick at fixing any problems we had.

There were some noises above the ceiling like someone/something was moving there, and it was a little noisy.

The tree caban was such nice and great for a family trip. The children liked a lot this tree house! The resort is not so big so it is quiet and with lot of trees and flowers. The swimming pool is enough big to swim or play woth children. Also some sun beds to relax. The food was great and a lot to eat for breakfast! The staff is very nuce and so helpful. They even bring us to Lion rock, pick up us,... and advise us for activities around.

We liked everything, we recomme nded to get a good SIM because in the area does not take much internet

The tree house is lovely, also the apartments are very comfortable. Clean pool the resort is completely in the middle of nature but 7 minutes away from Tuktuk central street with restaurants. Wonderful family, very kind: incredible owner who took us to do a Safari kaudulla and accompanied to the departure station, rent a scooter.. he help us to save some wet documet also!!

Very beautiful place, with nice pool. The staff (owners) are the nicest hardworking people we met in Sri Lanka. Super helpful, and so kind. The Treehouse is amazing. Its basic, but everything you need. The owner arranged a special safari for us, and knows exactly where to go/look. We saw awesome animals, a lot of Elephants. The breakfast and food is amazing. Every morning there is something different, mostly local food. Definately recommend this place!
