Reception staff weren’t particularly friendly when we arrived, felt like we were looked up and down as we had backpacks with us and dismissed very quickly. At dinner we felt like we were being pushed into purchasing expensive bottles of champagne as they hotel were aware it was our honeymoon and upon asking if it was possible for a late checkout (as this has been part of the deal on my booking.com genius account) we were told the hotel was fully booked the next night, so they couldn’t accommodate despite me checking if I could book into the hotel the next day and it showing they had lots of availability. So some of the staff just really didn’t live up to the friendliness of everywhere else we had been in Sri Lanka. Also our sink was blocked, so there was a bad smell in our bathroom.

The property was very clean and set it a beautiful location. The swimming pool was lovely and the food here was great. The room was very lovely and good views from the balcony. The ‘trainees’ (they did not have a name on their name tag) could not do enough to help us, they were brilliant throughout our stay.

Bar service was slow and sometimes didn't arrive, on more than one occasion we had to re-order drinks. Assume language barrier.

Great pool area with nice view over fields, very diverse and tasty food. Rooms were a little dated but nice and staff were very friendly.

Our stay at this hotel was absolutely fantastic! From the very beginning, we felt very welcome—the staff were helpful, helpful, and always smiling. The room was clean, well-appointed, and well-equipped, with comfortable and functional amenities. The breakfast was delicious, and the restaurant served delicious meals all day long. The pool and well-maintained hotel were also a big plus—the perfect place to relax. The hotel's location was also a big plus—close to major attractions, yet quiet and peaceful. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a comfortable, residential stay. We will definitely be back!

Amazing staff! Very attentive and personable. All the little things you normally have to ask for they just did without having to ask. Food was very good as well for lunch and dinner! Great location as well for safari. Pool was very nice and clean and comfy sun beds.

At 11:45, I received a phone call from reception, reminding me the checkout time was 12:00, and passively aggressive asking me what my checkout time will be. I honestly felt really intimidated, and this experience threw away all the wonderful friendliness of your coworkers, and I left the hotel with a bitter feeling. I really cannot understand why reception would chase the guests out of the room, for the last 15 minutes of their stay?

When I arrived to the resort, the reception felt really good, so I decided to book an extra night right away. The staff and food was wonderful, and the room was quiet. Wifi reception also great.

We wanted to stay near Yala National Park and this fit the bill for us. The staff was extremely helpful with welcoming us and the check in process was smooth. The room was really nice, spacious, clean and the bathroom was clean as well. Ample towels, air conditioning worked great and the bed was comfortable. The swimming pool is really nice and a good temperature while the best part may be the food during breakfast and dinner. There were ample options and it tasted really good. I'd highly recommend the hotel for its hospitality and amenities!

The room wasn’t as we expected, deluxe room selected but we got 2 separated beds, not really comfortable, ground floor accessible to mosquito we couldn’t enjoy our terrace. Humide room to avoid if you have allergy.

Food was not as good as other hotels in my opinion. Due to amount of bugs and heat, I believe the restaurant should have air conditioning, definitely not alone in this thought. Many bugs get in the room of a night

Staff were incredibly helpful! Arrived with a cool towel and refreshing drink. The rooms are spacious and the bed is comfortable. They organised a packed breakfast for our safari the next morning and were able to help sort us to extend our stay by one night (which we were very happy about). Buffet dinner was great and also a separate menu to order from as alternative. Pool and surroundings were beautiful, clean and comfortable!
