NetherlandsThe manager was a bit pushy towards us and to other staff snapping fingers etc. He also seemed grumpy if we refused an offer winch we had to do multiple times. This Point are minor to the overall very good stay!!!
Amazing swimming pool, the staff was quick to inform us that we could have dinner at the pool or any other place we wished. The hotel is big with smaller houses with rooms spaced out so you dont have to worry about noisy guests. Staff was very helpful. We went on elephant safari early in the morning via a tuk tuk driver we met on our way. (we had to get up at 4 oclock) The hotel arranged a nice breakfast for us and the driver free of charge. They woke us up on time and carried our bags. Overall a great stay!

BelgiumNo Sri Lankan breakfast (only after my Sri Lankan husband insisted - tourists at the table next to us also asked for Sri Lankan breakfast but didn't get any). The stairs going up to our room were always slippery because water was overflowing from the water tanks on the roof. One stair was rotten and it was quite scary to go up and down with kids.
The pool and layout of the hotel was beautiful, and the staff was very nice!

AustraliaFor a resort which is located in a remote location, the food option was very limited. There were only set menu for dinner and upon repeated request to the chef on how we prefer the food, the chef prepared the food to their way. The price for dinner is way expensive to what is available in nearby restaurants, so I strongly suggest the owner of the property to appoint a chef who would prepare the food on menu to the preferred taste pf the guests. They did offered a custom food (string hoppers) for my kids upon request though. I decided not to opt for the buffet dinner as I wasn’t prepared to pay (which would be expensive) for a food that wouldn’t be of our liking and went out to eat. I heard from my driver the manager wasn’t happy about it. The manager avoided me while checking out instead of checking with me how my stay was (walked away as I approached the reception and even made eye contact). The receptionist couldn’t speak or understand English properly. I understand the economic situation is not great, however looking after the guests well including providing good food options would ensure they recommend their friends and family to stay here.
The property is located in a mango farm, architecture with a nice and appropriately themed for an Ayurvedic resort. The room was big for a family of four. Bath rooms were large. The door does require some Nice big swimming pool. Good water pressure in the shower and hot water was available at all times. A nice water tub was available in room we stayed. We didn’t use it though as we preferred to spend time at the swimming pool. Sandalwood soap is. Very nice touch. Driver accomodation and food was included in the price.

Big family huts with two separate rooms. Hut 220 had a bathtub - hut 221 did not. Super friendly staff and amazing sri lankan food. We had the whole place to our self and the staff went out of the Way to service us and showed us the grounds with fruits and vegetables. The pool was really big and with natural shakes

United KingdomWhen we first arrived at the hotel, it felt almost deserted, no one was at the reception desk, and the atmosphere was quite unwelcoming. After a few minutes, staff began to appear, but the initial impression wasn’t great. The bathroom in our room had issues. the door couldn’t be locked easily, and the toilet roll holder had fallen to the floor, which should have been addressed by the maintenance team prior to our arrival. The swimming pool was another concern. It looked dirty and seemed to need more frequent cleaning throughout the day. More worryingly, there was a pool light resting at the bottom of the pool. I was genuinely concerned for my family’s safety, as this could pose a serious electrical hazard if there were any power leaks. In the dining area, I would highly recommend enclosing the space and adding air conditioning. During dinner, bugs were constantly drawn to the ceiling lights, and at breakfast, there were numerous cats around, which was problematic since one of our group members has a cat allergy. Overall, the hotel isn’t bad, but there are several areas that need attention in order to truly improve the guest experience. With some maintenance, better cleanliness, and more attention to guest comfort and safety, this place could be much more enjoyable.

That meal was OK but overall not worth what this resort is charging per night. Definitely better value elsewhere Also there was no hot water, again, something we would expect for a resort charging this price

GreeceRooms and bathrooms need correct cleaning. There are cobwebs and looks that the bathrooms were never actually cleaned. There are stains on the tiles and the bathroom. The breakfast was very basic. The coffee was awful (it was filter coffee that was literally boiling for hours). The dinner was also very limited (they said that it costs 15 USD but of course the price is different in LKR each date depending on the the rate of USD. They do not tell you the price is LKR). Also be prepared to pay for mandatory service charge 10% although you are not satisfied at all from the service!!!! It is very difficult to communicate with the staff in English. We asked them to leave some dirty clothes for washing and drying, and we end up having back the clothes DIRTY and IRONED!!! They said that they thought it was just for drying (although the clothes were ALREADY dry when we hand them in..... they were however DIRTY). So they got the DRY & dirty clothes and they just put them in the dryer!!! Probably they though that this is normal ? and this took them 6 hours!!! The most strange thing is that when we arrived (upon check in) they asked us to CANCEL THE RESERVATION via booking.com and make it directly with them!
