We had a family room which was very spacious and very private too. The facilities were great and the staff could not be more helpful. Breakfast was tasty and filling. The array of fruit in offer was amazing.

We wouldn’t have changed a thing about our stay.

Upul was absolutely wonderful - so inspiring and made us feel at home from the very first moment. He shared the history of his family with us, which was truly inspiring. The food and breakfast were amazing, fresh, and full of flavor. The place is peaceful, and our room was huge, spotless, and incredibly comfortable. We already want to come back as soon as possible!

Nothing - everything was perfect

Mr Upul, his family and the whole Kandy Tree tops staff were the cherry on top of our amazing stay in Kandy. The room was perfect with an incredible window view on the garden, the breakfast was delicious, the whole environment and experience was utterly calming and We really felt home. Thank you Mr Upul and all the people who have welcomed us with such care and kindness. Highly recommend this accomodation in Kandy.

Very nice staff, good rooms and at a quiet location near the center

Super cute place, massive room, everything new and cleaned. Superb breakfast. But above all, an incredibly friendly and professional staff. Totally recommended.

There’s nothing you won’t like!

The breakfast spread we were given each morning was plentiful. The staff were so helpful and informative, offering suggestions without being pushy. The hotel is a little oasis after spending some time in the hustle and bustle of Kandy. Room was very spacious and we enjoyed sitting out on the balcony with the view.

The road behind the room was a little bit loud and woke us up a few times, we understand this is out of the hotels control though. It isn't walkable to get to the hotel, but getting a tuktuk is easy.

We loved our stay at Kandy Tree Tops ! Travelling with two kids (4 and 7), it was a great place to relax in the lush garden setting, away from the noise and heat from the city. Upul, the owner, was super helpful to arrange activities and tuk tuks for us. We met his wife and daughter, and everyone was so lovely and welcoming!

I found my room soulless yet costly. no bed sheet, just the blanket.

The tree tops are an oasis in the middle of a busy city. The buildings in themselves and gardens were really nice, but our room was unfortunately not. The breakfast was really good.

Our family room was downstairs, it didn't look like the photos at all. For the money we paid, it was not very nice. It was musty and mouldy smelling, and the bed linen was very old and stained, the furniture was very old and stained. The hotel was quite full when we were there with other families, so maybe we got the worst room because the other reviews are good. While our stay was fine it should have been considerably cheaper.

The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble and breakfast was lovely

The room we were initially offered (Deluxe Double) did not match the photos on the website - the photos are of the Deluxe Double with Balcony rooms and the difference is significant. However we could pay to upgrade on the day and the room was lovely.

A little difficult to call a pick me or uber but it’s a minor thing.

Our stay at Kandy Tree Tops was nothing short of fantastic. From the moment we arrived, we were warmly welcomed and incredibly well taken care of by Kuma. Even though we arrived late and the restaurant was already closed, Kuma went above and beyond to help us find a place for dinner and even arranged a trusted TukTuk driver for us. Steven, the driver, was super cool, easygoing, and made us feel right at home. The next day, Steven gave us a lovely city tour of Kandy, including a visit to the charming Tea Museum — a highlight of our trip! He also showed us the vibrant, organized chaos of Kandy life, which was both exciting and memorable. To top it all off, we had a delicious breakfast prepared by Kuma and Chandani — colorful, flavorful, and truly local. It was a real treat and a perfect way to start the day. The hotel itself is a true gem: the rooms are spacious, modern, and offer beautiful views. Kandy Tree Tops is definitely a wonderful address in Kandy, and we would recommend it to anyone looking for an authentic and comfortable stay in the city.

We stayed in a very spacious, spotless and perfectly equipped room with amazing views on top. Super comfy beds, perfect waterpressure. The breakfast was by far the best we had on our whole trip through Sri Lanka! The very friendly and very caring team make this place undoubtedly the probably best option in Kandy. They organized everything we needed, gave perfect tips and even brought the forgotten lunch package to the railwaystation in no time so that we made our train - with our lunch. This is unmatched service!! Do not hestitate to book Kandy Tree Tops!! We fully recommend to stay here.

Absolutely nothing.

The air-conditioning in our room was noisy I didn't sleep to well. Location just outside kandy, nice garden, quit area. Our room was spacious and very clean. Bathroom and shower were really good. The host left for vacation without saying goodbye.

Staff are super kind and helpful giving you lots of recommendations during my stay, they even offer you a Tuk Tuk tour - very good! Breakfast was nice too.

An exceptional stay at Kandy Tree Tops! Loved our time here and was great to meet Upul and his wife who ensured that our stay was of the highest standard. Perfect for our night in Kandy, food was delicious and the bed ensured the best night’s sleep and definitely exceeded all others on our travels. Kandy Tree Tops is in a great location for exploring Kandy, short tuk tuk ride from centre. Rooms are very spacious and high quality with great views. The grounds are beautiful.

Very nice hotel, very warm welcome, highly recommended

Very clean, caring owners and the location is slightly outside of the city bustle with very pretty views. Location is excellent if you plan to travel further to Nuwara Elia and visit the Royal Botanical Gardens on the way.
