Nice beds and sorted us taxi and Tuk Tuks and laundry service was also good. Breakfast was very nice. Room was big so had a table inside which was useful

Unfortunately, the distance from the city center is a fixed feature. It's worth considering this factor when planning your stay, as the location might not be ideal for those who prefer closer proximity to the city center. Despite this drawback, Kandy Hill Escape offers a unique local experience that might outweigh the inconvenience of its distance from the city center for certain travelers.
First and foremost, I wouldn't categorize Kandy Hill Escape as a conventional hotel; it feels more like a local residence, a genuine home where the locals live. It's akin to a paying guest accommodation rather than a traditional hotel. The rooms on the first floor are available for rent. Our room was not only spacious but also immaculately clean, and it even came with an extra bed. The view from the room was decent, nothing extraordinary. It's worth noting that breakfast is no longer served as a standard offering. However, upon my special request, the host graciously prepared a delightful breakfast for us, adding a personal touch to our stay.

No fridge No proper facilities We wanted to book another night, but they told us to leave our bags outside the room and bring them back after a few hours. Even though they had taken our things out of the bags. We changed our hotel and another hotel with great facilities was chosen for us.
