IndiaThe room is definitely small for two people and some luggage. Facilities like kettle, tea and coffee in the room should be provided. There is definitely the issue of stray dog barking through the night and it can be disturbing.
The place is clean and accessible. Mr Nihal is very helpful and around to help.

AustraliaI stayed here for nearly 3 weeks. The manager Nihal was so kind and helpful. One complaint was about the street noise, every night all the local dogs would start barking and howling , it became most annoying. Also local monkeys became a nuisance if you left the door open.

United KingdomThe rooms were clean, secure and spacious. We were warmly greeted by Nihal who checked us in, and also made us delicious omelette for breakfast. The pillows were fluffy and comfortable, as were the beds. At night there is a fantastic chorus of frogs singing which is definitely worth walking around in. The Hideout Bar is a 10 minute walk away, and does excellent food and drinks, really lovely space to visit. The showers were refreshing. The view from the balcony is really beautiful. We saw hummingbirds flying around the plants on the property. It was just what we needed for our night in Kandy.

PolandThere were outside lamps that gave our room too much light at night. We couldn’t find a way to switch them off and the host was not there to help. It was also quiet loud at night because a lot of stray dogs live in the area and they constantly bark. At the end we paid a bit more than it showed on Booking, like they rounded it up to full thousands or used a currency rate that was unfavorable for us.
We liked the big bed and big bathroom. There is a nice common area. It’s in a walking distance to the centre but in a calmer area. The host was friendly.
