Amazing hotel if you want to chill, relax by the huge 100m pool or use the spa (which was one the best I had in Sri Lanka). It is very quiet perfect for relaxing before/after flight as it is close to Colombo airport, but often you can hear planes landing. Staff is extremely nice and welcoming, although food service is sometimes slow. Food menus are okay, but beware the menu is somewhat "healthy" so missing typical hotel comfort food. The room is really large, bed comfy. I had the large outside bathroom with both shower and a bathtub. French press coffee, real milk and water provided. There is no TV though (I did not need it at all)

A guide to Negombo would have been good, with restaurant recommendations, cultural sites and places of interest, that sort of thing.

This was the first hotel designed by Geoffrey Bawa (1966) and Jetwing have done a wonderful job at preserving it. Great food, a 100-metre swimming pool and the Luxury Terrace Room has an indoor-outdoor bathroom that together with an expansive bedroom, makes it the perfect hotel suite. Also love that there are no TV's in the rooms. And free yoga classes morning and afternoon with an excellent instructor!

Incredible hotel, a peaceful retreat. What a delightful, relaxing stay, the breakfast was delicious, staff were very helpful and friendly. The pool was breathtaking. The rooms and bathroom were beautifully designed, comfortable and extra clean.

Very peaceful and relaxing hotel, and an amazing spa (shoutout to Nuwan and Minoli our excellent massage therapists). Friendly and helpful staff, and great selection at the hotel restaurant. Spacious and very clean rooms - not to forget the amazingly comfortable beds! Something to be mindful about - the occasional airplane will pass over the hotel since it’s relatively close to the airport. It didn’t disturb us, but it might be something to keep in mind when booking the property.

Exceptional property. A simply serene getaway. The room was absolutely fabulous. And just oozed relaxation. The pool and pool area was very well appointed and the 100 meters pool was a sight to behold. Had the best experience at their spa with massages from Nuwan and Sunitha. The restaurant overseeing the lagoon had the best view with fresh and superb quality food throughout the day.

The food offered at breakfast and dinner was well prepared, very flavourful and pleasingly presented. The choices were plentiful for any type of palate and preference. The restaurant staff was very friendly and attentive. The front desk team was extremely polite and professional, solving my problem immediately and with a smile. The spa receptionist made me feel comfortable the minute I arrived and the spa therapist did an amazing job to release my muscle tensions.

The only point of criticism is the service at the pool. Depending on who's on duty, there's simply no one there for extended periods.

I was for the second time in this hotel. It's a splendid place, very relaxing with a beautiful garden, absolutely lovely employes , difficult to find ciritical points.

Everything was excellent and the staff were brilliant. The two key areas of feedback were that the air conditioning was very loud and it would have been helpful to have had tables by the pool.

Booked this as it was near to the airport for one night only and I was delighted to find out that it’s a truly lovely hotel. Very helpful staff, enormous pool, huge rooms, beach across the road, good massages and delicious breakfast with a view. Would have happily stayed for longer.

The service staff isn't always very attentive. You have to take care of getting a drink by the pool or a refilling of your tea at breakfast.

Very nice and comfortable hotel. The rooms are absolutely gorgeous, the pool is enormous and the view over the lagoon splendid. the staff has always a warm smile ready for you and lets you feel welcomed at this great place. Any time again!!!

In general the drinks take a lot of time to serve (even just a bottle of water). We were a bit disappointed with the massage but the hotel offered a 30min free session which we appreciated a lot. The wifi (but you're here to relax :) ) is slow and unstable.

The hotel is very peaceful and quiet. What we liked is that you have both the lagoon and sea side. Very relaxing environment. VERY long swimming pool (100m!) with shaded sitting areas around the pool. The food is delicious.

Food to expensive for what you get, fish and meat preperation was not good, fish to dry, meat like gum, knife not sharp for cut it. Ac in room to noise
