Each review score is between 1 and 10. To get the overall score you see, we add up all the review scores we’ve received and divide that total by the number of them. You can review an accommodation that you booked through our platform if you stayed there, or if you got to the property but didn’t actually stay there. To edit a review you’ve already submitted, contact our Customer Service team.
We have people and automated systems that specialize in detecting fake reviews submitted to our platform. If we find any, we delete them and, if necessary, take action against whoever is responsible.
Anyone who spots something suspicious can always report it to our Customer Service team so that our fraud team can investigate.
Ideally, we'd publish every review we get, positive and negative. However, we won’t display any reviews that include or refer to (among other things):
- Politically sensitive comments
- Promotional content
- Illegal activities
- Personal or sensitive info (e.g. emails, phone numbers, credit card info)
- Swear words, sexual references, hate speech, discriminatory remarks, threats, or references to violence
- Spam and fake content
- Animal cruelty
- Impersonation (i.e. if the writer is claiming to be someone else)
- Any violation of our review guidelines.
To make sure reviews are relevant, we may only accept reviews that are submitted within 3 months of checking out. We may stop showing reviews once they’re 36 months old, or if the accommodation has a change of ownership.
An accommodation can reply to a review.
When you see multiple reviews, the most recent ones will be at the top, subject to a few other factors (e.g. language, whether it’s just a rating or contains comments as well, etc.). You can sort and/or filter them by time of year, review score, and more.
Sometimes we show external review scores from other well-known travel websites, but make it clear when we do this.

The Service was outrageous. I really enjoy Rice & Curry - Sri Lanka's national food. Here is the perfect place to get it for a very suitable (local) price. It was very tasty and hygienic and location to visit Dambulla, Polonaruwa, Anuradhapura, Sigiriya.

it gave me a peace of mind when we were around. situated in a clam place. staffs are so friendly and took care about our next destination moves overall it felt like a home to me. it was easy to navigate whole sri lanka from there.

We stayed there for one night for a safari tour at the next day. We had a delicious, big dinner and great breakfast. The host organized us a great morning safari tour around minneriya national park with prefect driver.

peaceful and has lots of interesting things to see around it. The service at this hotel was so comforting. The rooms were also very spacious, very well made and very clean. the host was super nice and made my exploration at habarana much easier

Amazing hotel - very tranquil with beautiful and peaceful surroundings (and amazing wildlife!). Very friendly staff who go over and beyond to help and provide recommendations. could hire cars for visit nearest attractions.

Excellent value hotel with friendly staff. The street is surprisingly quiet, and the location is great. Would stay again. Worthy for the room chargers. Hot water, AC, comfortable beds.

Hotel Calm Haven was the best stay from our 14 days trip in Sri Lanka. Super large bedrooms, classy shower area, a sparkling clean & a well maintained property with tasteful interiors. They customized the breakfast for my family's liking and went to utmost length to ensure we had a comfortable stay. Will highly recommend the property for all travellers

To short a stay. We need a longer staying!
We can go to Sigiriya, Pidurangala, Dambulla cave temple, golden temple, POLONNARUWA 2nd ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka ,Somawathiya temple, Medirigiriya watadage, Anuradhapura 1st ancient kingdom of Sri Lanka , Awkana, Trincomalee beautiful beaches lots many more attractive places.
