What i love about this place is it’s different from other places we have been to. It’s quiet you the only noise you will hear is the monkeys and other animals which we really love. Everymorning we bring banana’s and mangoes for the monkey’s to come, they are all so cute!! Nipun is such a wonderful owner, he is nice and offer us that we can do late checkout since we need to leave around 1pm to airport. Daya the caretaker at night is so nice, i’ve notice he is waiting for us to come back before he closes the gate. Staff is amazing & also the food. Will definitely come back again.

The hosts were nice, greeted us with ice tea. The AC was on and the room was chilly when we arrived, which was nice. It was clean. The location is on a quiet street and we saw monkeys on the trees next to it. Breakfast was great.

The staff was exceptionally helpful throughout our stay, providing detailed information about the safari trip and arranging our airport transfer. We were also offered a complimentary room upgrade and enjoyed the convenience of a late check-out. We highly recommend this place, especially the rooms with a balcony. The rooms are well-equipped with charger adaptors, air conditioning, a safe, and all the amenities you might need for a comfortable stay.

Our stay at Jungle Soul was absolutely amazing! 🏡🌿 The staff was exceptional – caring, attentive, and always there for anything we needed. Very cool and unique hotel a bit off the main street, but everything is in 10-20 minutes walking distance and it is close to the turtle beach! The staff is especially friendly and helpful!!

One of the rooms we took wasn’t well ventilated but I think that can be fixed.

We were greeted by Jaya when we arrived. He was such a nimble person. He ran around fulfilling all our requests. I was so impressed by his hospitality and warmth. I will always remember Jaya when I’d think about Mirissa or Sri Lanka. This hotel was cozy and one of the cheapest one we booked during our trip but it was one of the coziest and the staff made it so much better. If you aren’t looking for luxury you should stay here you will be well looked after

This place is run by the sweetest people! We had such a great stay here, everyone was very lovely and helpful. We really liked the location, it feels like you're in the middle of the jungle, you can watch monkeys from the balcony or the café upstairs. It's in walking distance to the beach, Parrot Rock and Coconut Tree Hill.

Absolutely cozy place and perfect accommodation! Clean comfortable rooms, real jungle all around, beautiful nature, but very close to one of the best beaches in Mirissa. Friendly staff, high hospitality by the host - they are perfect team. All my requests were completed fast and easy. I gonna return again and again to the Jungle Soul. My highly recommendation for single travellers and families. Here you receive relax and comfort

Very cosy place, good restaurant on the roof, lovely people working and owning this place. Turtle beach 5 minutes walking. Monkeys live nearby so you could watch them from the balcony and restaurant. Cool Russian chef at the restaurant. Very tasty food, especially shrimp burger, tuna and octopus!

-Not much common green area to rest at -They organise some nice evening events (ie Quizes or Karaokes, but they are in Russian language only). It would be nice if there were some other events organised for the international community too (ie in English)

-Best breakfasts we had in a hotel in Sri Lanka -Comfortable and nicely furnished rooms -Nice common areas (restaurant on the rooftop and a small terrace on the first floor) to chill out/read books at the evening -Staff is doing their best to make you feel comfortable (ie we were reading books at night in the common area, the staff member noticed us and brought anti-mosquito candles just for us) -It’s not directly by the beach or in the centre (still within walking distance though), making it more cozy and calm than rest of Mirissa

The most delicious breakfasts on the whole island. After the first night, we asked to be moved to the 2nd floor. The room is spacious, lots of space, has a balcony and a view of the trees. Every day we saw monkeys)

recommended to book a room on the second floor. I didn’t pay attention to descriptions on site and at arrival found out that my room didn’t have any windows. on the second flour there was problem with noise from a pump station but it was solved by staff and became more quiet

Nothing to dislike

This place is lovely a little gem just down a little road ... a 5 minute walk to all the Beautiful beaches in Mirissa...its run by a lovely couple and there staff who will do anything to please you and hav perment smiles on their faces...The food is amazing...we had a cool room with a balcony looking over the jungle backdrop...Definitely recommend a stay here...you won't be disappointed
