Beautiful beach views, welcoming staff. The season was closing so we had breakfast (, included) at Neelas next door, which was delicious. Great spot for surf and bars.

The wifi was not good. But we had the issue in almost all our accommodations so that should not stop you from staying at this place. An easy solution is to get a local sim or eSIM (FYI at colombo airprot when you arrive you will automatically pass a stand with local SIMs and they were really cheap and quick for my friend)

It is directly at the beach and that was such a benefit for us. Whenever we went for a surf or swimming we didnt need to take anything with us and even could leave the key at the reception so we never had to be concerned about leaving our stuff unattended. They also have sunbeds which are in the shade and can be used when ordering at the restaurant. The location is great for all surfers. We had a room with air condition and I can really recommend that. Sri Lanka has a high humidity and is very warm and the air condition helps enormous. It is quiet which is great and can be an issue compared to other accomodations with windows to the main street. There were great food options close by (our favourite: No Name - roti restaurant).

The menu is more international than Sri Lankan but the food they did serve was excellent. The basic double was smaller than expected but it had everything. If you are on ground floor its more motel than hotel but it doesn't detract from the stay.

The staff were amazing, like all Sri Lankans just so amazingly nice and helpful. The location right on the beach is perfect, sun beds and parasols free of charge and comfy.

There could have been better paths between the main buildings and rooms. When it rained it became quite muddy

I like the hut style rooms, it felt like we had our own private house. They were a good size with aircon and a good shower. Pool was great and a really short walk to the beach

Everything was good.

Breakfast was good although my son was hoping for waffles but the machine was broken. We had dinner here one night and it was very good. The location is perfect, right on the beach and away from the crowds but the main town is just a short walk away. The hotel was really accommodating and arranged for a car to pick us up from the airport and then arranged a car for our onward journey which was great.

Quantity of food Served for the value of money can improve. Card Payments does not work, although when you enter the hotel they said, you can pay from card. Washroom needs to have a head shower. They only had a body shower.

Cleanliness was at 100%. Staff was good. Food tasted good.

I should’ve booked a room with AC. The cheapest room with fan only is very stuffy and very hot.

Good location. Nice cappuccino coffee. A solid nothing fancy old fashioned 2 star hotel good for a quick overnight stay.

Restaurant staff not very friendly, possibly because he doesn’t understand English very well. We managed to get along in the end though. The AC had some issues and the fan didn’t work at all

Good food, beach side, best for surfing or if you are an experienced swimmer, there are high waves, one quick stroll on the beach and you can find calmer ocean water, almost like natural pools. 15 min away from Turtle Beach. Owner tried to be as helpful as he could to accommodate our needs including to upgrade one of our rooms to fit more people

It has a good location on a lovely bit of beach with life guards and surfing teachers. A friendly atmosphere, very relaxed and helpful staff.

A proper family run business. You feel safe and well looked after.

Room looked different then the photos and I didn’t like the dinner, breakfast was great though.

Love the location at the beach, they also have beds on the beach a bar and restaurant. Rooms were clean and staff is kind.

You have to pay for lunch to use the sunbeds outside because it belongs to the restaurant and not the hotel (even though its the same place) so the staff will watch you like a hawk and kick you out if you don't order. Pro tip is to use the sunbeds at the restaurants on the left side.

As I said: The hotel staff are polite... ... but beyond that not very friendly or cordial. On our arrival the towels and bed linen were dirty. The staff member complied with our request to change the linen, but the new linen also showed unappetising brown stains in the sheets. He then actually asked if he should actually change the linen, and he was not at all enthusiastic when I asked for CLEAN bed linen. You can't use the mosquito net because the bed is attached to the wall and there is no way to somehow hold the mosquito net over the bed. The fan knocks and creaks as loudly as an old door. The traffic noise from the street can be heard all the time - even at night.

The hotel staff are polite... The room, bathroom and the entire accommodation were clean. Air conditioning worked. The accommodation is located directly on a very nice beach. Orders - especially in the restaurant - are dealt with quickly.

I wish the rooms have more beds. eg two double beds to fit for a family. The pressure of the shower is not enough
