United KingdomIt's unfair to say as they are in the middle of some construction which won't last forever. We would have loved a Seaview but were fully booked for the beach block. Our room was closest to the road which we were concerned about but was surprisingly quiet and peaceful plus the bonus of new build, rooms and furniture. Being seconds from the beach meant we could sit in the restaurant for the view.
The most beautiful family and staff members who made you feel welcome and settled. Prime location for a pot of tea whilst watching the surf. Perfect for surfing the point. Fruit salad was just amazing. Will be top of my list when I return. Highly recommend this traditional hotel. If you're looking for modern and glamour go elsewhere, if you're looking for authentic Sri Lankan and the nicest people Hansa is for you ! Lovely to meet you Usha , we will return.

Place is located on a great area of the beach close to all the main surfing points. Basic room but clean and all the facilities work well. The staff is very kind, friendly and accommodating. Definite value for money for a budget stay in Hikka.

AustraliaThere was nothing I liked except for the location. I would describe it more like a hostel than a hotel so it wasn't for me and only stay one nigh instead of four. It was also dirty, run down and uninviting. It wasn't somewhere I wanted to be on my holiday. I didn't stay for breakfast.
