The owner of the hotel, all the staff and her family are so welcoming and kind! They helped me with everything I needed and shuttled me personally to the places I wanted to go, provided me with informations for my stay in Kandy and Sri Lanka. The rooms are big, clean and comfortable.I had nice and interesting conversations and everybody was so gentle and warm. Definitely a great hotel above the busy city of Kandy, with a great view and very obliging people:) loved it!

New hotel just outside the city in the hills with stunning views over Kandy, where the air is clean and you can watch beautiful Sri Lankan birds in the trees from your balcony. Welcoming and helpful staff and owner who arranged our tour of Kandy with a great driver Imran. We would recommend this place to anyone coming to Kandy.

We loved the view and the peace this hotel offers. The staff were extremely sweet and attentive. The property is at the top of Kandy so you can see everything that's happening beneath you. The trees are full of life and we could see parrots and hummingbirds flying around us from the balcony and during dinner.

Highly recommend this hotel, they offer top level service. All staff super friendly and helpful, always with a smile and lots of positive energy 😇 room was very comfortable, clean bathroom, no problem with hot water. The view from balcony is just amazing, the location definitely worth it. Outside the room you can make a tea or take the water for free. You can also have a tasty breakfast or dinner with the same view in their dining area. Big thanks to the chef Sanjana for advices and new food experiences 🤌🏻 All in all perfect ☺️

At first the location, but once I calmed down the location made sense. The City is not like the other tourist city's. The hotel has 13 rooms soon the be labelled. There's plenty of stairs, I think it's good for your health.

Surely the best view and sunset in Kandy. Room was heavily discounted on booking.com. The staff are there to help, and the owner spent time in WA!. I do recommend breakfast because of the opulence (view, silverware,etc). This location is not centre and you don't want to be in town. It's worth being up here. I'll repeat this point bcs booking said in town. The views from each room are worth the visit and we wished we booked more than one night.

The bed sheets were a bit dirty but hotel staff come around immediately to change them!

Breakfast and dinner was great. The hotel is 10 min outside of Kandy centre but not a problem. Hotel staff is very, very friendly and get us a contact to the best Tuk Tuk driver of Kandy. Ask for Kadar! He's a local and was working as a tourist guide for more than 20 years. He can give you the best informations about Kandy and the whole county. We've followed his instructions give us contacts for safari, stays to the south of Kandy and had the best time caused of his advices!

The bathroom smelled like the drainage wasn’t cleaned / cleared when we got in the room. Since we’ve had this issue in other accommodations on Sri Lanka before we didnt point it out. It was better in the morning.

The location provided us with a wonderful view of the sunset. We only stayed one night to catch the train from Kandy to Ella, therefore can’t say much more. But the view from the balcony is spectacular. Upon our request we were served fruit and coffee before leaving, the fruit was delicious! The staff was nice and helpful.

Food was a little slow to arrive for dinners but when it did it was very good and the staff were friendly and helpful.

Very clean and developing. Room was spacious and WiFi was good. Up on the hill so can get a good sunset and sunrise views on the balcony. It is a new development so some work going on but not that noticeable. Will be an even better hotel in the future

It’s uphill, which sometimes makes it hard to find a pickme for transportation. Still you are very close to the city center. The hot water needs to be turned on 40 minutes before usage, though it didn’t seem the tank was able to store a lot of hot water.

Amazing view, the host is very kind and helpful. Enjoyed the breakfast, room and shower was spacious.

It was all good!

Golden sky was so welcoming! Golden sky sent their driver to meet me at the bus stand -what a relef! throughout my stay, the owner did everything she could to ensure a superb stay. They have an in-house tuk tuk at fair prices available & can inform on places to see & things to do. The place is new, clean, open & spacious. The double glass doors in my room opens to a spacious balcony, on a hill with the cooling breezes comming in. (Never needed the aircon). The room light & plugs well placed. Bed very comfy! Blackout curtains also. The dining area is a very large porch open on 2 sides, with beautiful views , good breeze & yummy foods. As a solo traveller, i met other travellers to share nearby hiking with at breakfast. The roof & the rooms have views of the city. It's in a quite location on a hill, easy access to town. I had an in-house massage that was simply amazing. I booked 1 night, stayed 5 bc it was so relaxing & comfortable. The staff is friendly & helpful. I plan on going back as I really enjoyed being in Kandy.

Sometimes there was a bad smell coming from the bathroom (probably from the drain). But this smell would vanish after showering.

It has a great view and nice rooms. It is located on a hill so it is only reachable by a TukTuk, which was kindly organized by the hotel. The owner and the hotel staff were very friendly and the breakfast was very big and delicious. There was a spa with a good massage therapist including a herbal sauna.

There were huge winds during my stay and it was really loud in the room, also I could hear any word if someone was speaking on the corridor.

The owner of the hotel and her family welcomed me as a new member of their family. They were great and trying to help me with any kind of requests.
