I had an amazing time at this hotel. The location is absolutely perfect—right by the beach, which made it so easy to enjoy the sea, stunning sunsets, and relaxing walks along the shore. Waking up to the sound of the waves was truly unforgettable. The staff were warm, welcoming, and always ready to assist with anything I needed. They really made me feel at home. My room was clean, comfortable, and well-equipped, with a beautiful view that made the stay even more special. The food at the hotel was excellent, with plenty of fresh options to choose from. Having breakfast while overlooking the beach was a real highlight. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with the perfect beachside location, this is the place to be. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will definitely stay here again on my next visit.

The check-in process was smooth and efficient. The room was spotless, spacious, and very comfortable, with all the amenities I needed for a relaxing stay. The bed was cozy, the bathroom was clean and well-maintained, and everything felt fresh and well taken care of. Housekeeping did a fantastic job every day. One of the highlights was the food—delicious, fresh, and beautifully presented. Whether it was breakfast, lunch, or dinner, every meal was enjoyable. The restaurant staff were also very attentive, making the dining experience even better. The hotel’s location is perfect, close to [beach/market/tourist spots—adjust as needed], making it convenient to explore the area. On top of that, the property itself is quiet and peaceful, allowing for a truly relaxing atmosphere. Overall, I couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Location a bit out of the way, but with a scooter we had no issues.

For an incredible price we had a clean room with a hot shower. The owner sourced us a scooter for only 1500lkr/day. Did not need AC while we were there, and the fan was suitable. Put a mosquito repelling device in the wall, which worked a treat! Tip for food- try the roti place on the left when you reach the main street.

Favourite place we stayed at in Sri Lanka. So clean and air con works great. Hot water always in the shower. The owner is so so lovely and invited us to celebrate new years with her family and have a home cooked meal. 100% recommend and would stay again!

We really liked the place, it was comfortable, good value for the money. We had hot water in the bathroom (which is not evident in Sri Lanka) and the in-house laundry was much cheaper then anywhere else. We would return any time.

Gihan is a lovely calm, quiet and clean place to stay in Mirissa. The room kept nice and cool, bed was comfy and mozzie net was a dream. We were welcomed very warmly and found the location easy to get around

It's exactly what you pay for: the room was quite small, a little damp due to the rains and it didn't give me the crispy clean feeling.

It was good value for the money. The lady was helpful. The location is a little off the roads but it was quiet and there were great restaurants nearby.

Nice and clean room and a kitchen for common use is also spotlessly clean! Comfortable big bed and hot water in the shower, sometimes gets even too hot. Very friendly owners, they helped us with the transfer to Matara when it was rainy and no taxi was coming

Everything was perfect about this trip, walking location to everything, great food nearby, gorgeous garden area and rooms. My partner had a fever, we could extend for a few days and the family helped us by making herbal teas and eggs etc!! Would definitely recommend, it’s lovely and the prices are incredible for what you get
