It was a wonderful stay.

My stay with Ranjith and Vijitha has been of a high standard and the best by far. I initially booked for two night but realised I wanted to stay longer. Their hospitality from my arrival has been truly warm and welcoming. The room was a large room with en-suite wet room that is spacious and cool with a small private balcony. The room is maintained to a high standard with everything for a convenient and relaxing stay. Vijitha, kindly provided me with a range of requested breakfast foods which I was most grateful for. Ranjith found me a bicycle and gave me a moped ride into town. Ranjith and Vijith work excellently together as a husband and wife team responding to their guests needs. It has truly been a pleasure meeting them and staying in their homestay.

Beautiful home and excellent hosts! We arrived super late due to our flight and the hosts stayed up to ensure we were able to check in okay. Also really enjoyed the delicious breakfast in the morning. Room was great and very tidy!

There was honestly nothing to dislike! My stay was comfortable, and the hospitality was exceptional. If anything, I only wish I had more time to enjoy the peaceful atmosphere and the lovely rooftop area. 😊

The guesthouse is immaculately clean and well-maintained, with spotless rooms and a fresh, tidy atmosphere that made for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. The peaceful surroundings, combined with the quiet environment, created the perfect place to unwind. The rooftop area was an added delight, offering a lovely space to relax and enjoy the view. Breakfast was excellent, featuring a delicious Sri Lankan-style spread with great quality and variety. The location is ideal for a tranquil escape while still being conveniently close to Gampaha city, making it easy to access shops and restaurants. From here, you can also travel easily by train—whether pre-booked online or with regular tickets—to destinations like Ella, Anuradhapura, Trincomalee, Hikkaduwa, and Mirissa. I highly recommend Gampaha Heritage for anyone looking for a peaceful, comfortable, and enjoyable stay in Gampaha.

I had a great experience at Gampaha Heritage. The Host was friendly and helpful, and my room was clean and comfortable. I loved the complimentary breakfast, which had a nice variety of options. The location was perfect, just a short walk from the Town area. My only complaint Overall, a lovely stay!

The host was so friendly and stayed up late for our arrival and also got up early to make us a delicious breakfast which was really appreciated when travelling with two kids. Rooms were clean and the property felt like a lovely Sri Lankan traditional home. Great value for money.

When you are searching a good place to stay on your way to Sri Lanka, this is the best place you can find at Gampaha area. It’s very near to Gampaha railway station and easily accessible to Colombo-Kandy main road as well. Staff is very kind and friendly. All the areas in the property are well maintained and clean. No outside disturbances and you can stay there like you are in your own home. Highly recommended this place for a pleasant stay on your vacation.

We didn't realise that there was no hot water system, but the water was generally luke warm and we managed during our short stay.

We had a lovely and very relaxing 2-night stay in Ranjith & Vijitha’s home. Our room was clean, fresh, and had a balcony overlooking greenery with lots of birds and squirrels! The hosts were very friendly and welcoming, and we had a good chat with them. The location is peaceful and not far from the train station via a tuk-tuk or car. Overall, we had a wonderful stay and would definitely return.

We were warmly welcomed upon arrival. The hosts are super kind and lovely people. They greeted us with a drink, helped carry our backpacks, ordered food for us and prepared a delicious breakfast. Additionally, they arranged transportation to our next destination. The place is very clean as well. If we are in the area again, we will definitely return.
