The breakfast was fair. The coffee was instant so I was a bit disappointed since Sri Lanka has wonderful coffee.

The location was phenomenal. The place had such a lovely feel to it, like a well-loved home.

Only had toast for breakfast for vegetarians so needed to eat out each morning.

Excellent location 25’ walk from bus to Sigiriya & train station, 2mins walk from Lake Kandy & 20’ walk to Temple of Sacred Tooth Relic & Udawatta Kele Sanctuary. Clean & comfortable.

Nothing major. There are two bungalows on the property, rooms with AC are in one of them only, breakfast is served in the other one. Rooms could do with a fresh coat of paint.

Location is great, walking distance to Kandy lake, some restaurants and 15-20 min to Kandy Mall. Big size rooms with AC. Laundry service available. Payment with card or cash accepted.

The bathroom floor is a little bit slippery. There were a few mosquitos in side the room.

More like a hospital room than a hotel room. Doors need repairing/replacing. To the room I was in anyway.

A little spartan. Wooden door badly split & broken around the handle/lock area. A bit worrying. Balcony door has a lock but no key and 2 bolts hard to operate. Door was unbolted and unlocked when I arrived. However, the bed was very comfortable and massive , the electric shower did give warm water, which is all that was needed as evening temps although a lot lower than Negombo, weren't too bad. A warm shower was nice late evening. Breakfast was good although I don't eat a great deal in the heat so can't comment on the amount. Seems to be ran by a bunch of young guys, very friendly and helpful. Last morning a mix up with a pre booked cab for the train station and 1 of them made sure of a tuk tuk to get me to the station for my 08.15 train to Ella. And that I wasn't ripped off.

Breakfast quantity was limited to per person. In case somone has big diet, they were not ready to give extra. E.g. 3 slices of bread per person.

Room size is big. Common area is big. Open area for parking is big. Enough space for parking and on request they give place for driver too.

A charming historic building close to central Kandy, just what I needed. 15min easy walk along the lake (just beware the birds in the trees!). Attentive hosts and a comfortable place to relax away from the busy city. My room was very big and comfortable for 2 nights.

It's not everyday you find colonial bungalow in the middle of a busy city. The property was in the heart of the city, just around the Kandy Lake Round which makes every other place in Kandy an easy access from where you stay. The property has an authentic colonial feel to it with the service curated perfectly well. The rooms are very comfortable & spacious.

The breakfast was just okay nothing special but included in the price. Didn't like the smell of mothballs in the room.

The location only a couple of minutes from the lake and a pleasant 15 minute walk into Kandy City centre. The bungalow contained many artifacts and the lounge and reading room was peaceful. Shahtha and his wife are typically Sri Lankan offering kind hospitality. Good value for money we would recommend.

The location is convenient and beautiful. A 15-min walk along the lake that we really enjoyed, brings you to the central part of the city. The property is charming and we really loved the vintage decor. The hosts are very kind, eager to help! They prepare breakfast daily at a time that suits you.

The location is very close to the city, making it easy reach Sri Dalada Maligawa. The staff was friendly and calm ,peaceful environment made it a relaxing stay.

Very Friendly and lovely host, we had a wonderful stay in Fortuna Heritage Home. It's totally a Heritage property, will take you right back in the time. Best location walkable distance to kandy center. They arrange for tuk tuks and car for sight seeing. Breakfast was good and they also took care of our baby needs. Thanks a lot

There is nothing not to be liked, though setting up of hot water in the washroom was a bit confusing, I had to call the staff twice but they were generous enough to come and support me.
