The room was really dark and didn’t look like the pictures. There was only one window on one side—maybe they gave us a specific one that’s different.

As an advice, not a complain - it would be 100 times better if there is an actual fireplace. It would be very cozy to drink a cup of tea and sit in the lobby near the fire with a book.

This is very cozy place with a feeling of a modern castle. Rooms are large and comfortable, water is hot, they have mobile heating unit if u get too cold (and you most probably will). Food was very nice too, we’ve enjoyed it.

The rooms smelled a little mouldy so we needed to air out the rooms a little. It's also a little far away from the main spots but you can get a tuk tuk around easily.

Absolutely stunning views of Nuwara Eliya, and the rooms are lovely and spacious.

Great view from the property. We were lucky to have a driver otherwise accessing the property would be a major challenge as it’s very very steep. The room was very spacious which was great. However it was very musty and the sheets a little moist as a result. Nonetheless it was incredible views outside of the town. The hosts were so lovely and accommodating.

It's a bit of a long way to the city centre and requires a bit of a climb. Luckily we had a chauffeur to drive. The duvet in the room was a bit damp (apparently related to the local weather and not a problem) The staff were more than welcoming.

The most satisfying thing about this hotel is that the breakfast and dinner are very good and tasty and the service is very good.

From the moment we arrived, the service was incredible . The staff went above and beyond to make our stay special. The room was spacious, spotless, and offered an incredible view of the mountains & sunrise . Breakfast was a highlight—fresh, diverse, and delicious. Definitely a five-star experience.

The only issue was the road as it was quite difficult to reach the location, but it is most likely to be made in July, they said.

Starting with the warm welcome, to the time of the checkout, the staff were really friendly and made sure that our stay was comfortable, especially the manager lady. We were offered excellent facilities like they helped us carry the luggage, they also taught us how to use the heaters, etc. We were really satisfied with the food as well and thank you for the wonderful services offered.

The road getting there is a bit steep

The food was really good. It’s al a carte even the bfast. It’s a small hotel. Room was really big with two large beds and a jacuzzi with beautiful views. Staff was really helpful.

From the welcoming cup of ginger tea on arrival, to the arranging of a tuktuk to take us to the railway station on departure, we were treated with the highest level of generosity and kindness from an extremely professional team of staff. Fort Windshire is out of town, affording lovely views of the surrounding landscape. Based around the theme of a medieval castle, the rooms are spacious and comfortable. We opted for in-house dining and the master chef produced some of the most delicious and filling food we have experienced on our Sri Lanka trip. Breakfast was freshly cooked, delicious and plentiful.

The room was extremely big, comfy, beautiful and clean, with super comfortable beds and stunning views of the mountains. Loved the silence and quietness there. Also the food was really good, and the staff so friendly and helpful. The hotel looks like a small hidden castle, highly recommended!!! A perfect place to enjoy a hide out in the mountains.

The property was absolutely stunning, the decoration and everything about it was high class. The room was exceptionally comfortable with much thought going into every little detail. We loved the fact there was an on-site chef and there was a large choice of items on the menu. We ate in both nights and the food really was excellent, and extremely tasty. We would absolutely recommend eating in and this was backed up by the tasty and plentiful breakfast in the morning.
