Though new one of the bathrooms had a weird stench.

The property is new and has a cute balcony in most of the rooms. Their string hoppers potato gravy with sambal was awesome! The staff is very kind and helpful and responsive.

We couldn't get our TV working and in the end we solved the problem as it was a poor/connection to the set top box not a pay tv/subscription issue (the default problem solving for everything is go to their mobile devices, they needed to come up to the room and check). Staff were helpful but limited English made communication difficult (also the 3 young men entrusted to Front of House were constantly/instantly on their devices, rather than concentrating on the customers). Also, for anyone with limited mobility their appeared to be no public lift and all the guest rooms are a few floors up from ground level.

The view was really fabulous but the location was a bit tricky for our driver as the road is not very well signed and almost a dirt track. However, it was still fairly convenient going into the centre of Ella. Breakfast was good except everything was served in reverse order to what Westerners are used to, so we had eggs and toast first instead of fruit juice first, then eggs/toast!. The rooms were clean and comfortable, well equipped and spacious.

Nothing, all was great. Would definitely recommend this stay!

The staff were very welcoming and couldn't do enough for us. It was my sons birthday, and they had prepared a birthday set up in our room with balloons and cake, very kind of them! The room was a good size, clean with a nice balcony with a lovely view of the surroundings. It was close enough to the centre to get a tuk tuk but far enough out to get away from the hustle and bustle. The breakfast was fresh and the owner asked us what our children would prefer, they were very accommodating. They have little puppy which my children loved and were happy to bring her our for the children to make a fuss of every morning and evening.

Owner is the best! Workers are amazing and friendly! Food was amazing and the room was very nice. Anything we wanted they got asap. Would highly recommend! I have allergies and they were very good and I had no problems.

Everything was absolutely great, and I wouldn't change anything. Of course, it's in the jungle, and there are some mosquitos but nothing you can do about that. They did provide mosquito repellant so no problem.

Dulan the host took such great care of us while we were there. The breakfasts were amazing. The rooms were perfect. The location was awesome. We even had monkeys running around welcoming us as we checked in. It was a perfect way to finish up our trip around Sri Lanka, and I would recommend anybody staying at Jungle Shades. They bent over backwards to help us enjoy our stay and were so kind to our kids. Couldn't ask for better accommodations.

The Hotel is very modern, and clean. Our room met all our needs - a large, comfortable bed with a mosquito net, a place to hang a wet clothes/towel, a balcony with a nice view, clean and big bathroom and usually hot water. Additionally, it is worth mentioning the very nice staff - guys prepared delicious breakfasts every day, they took care of our needs (e.g. they asked about the need to clean our room, change towels etc.)we received bottles of water every day and we always had nice conversations with them. We would definitely return to this hotel!

We had the opportunity to stay at Ever Breeze Ella for one night in Jan 2025. After a long train ride and exploring Ella, we were greeted with smiles by the hotel owner and sons. They promptly brought our bags to the rooms, which are accessible by stairs only, so it was a great help. We were offered a choice of welcome drinks also. We had booked 3 rooms which were all clean and spacious. Amenities and essentials such as soap, towels and water bottles were also provided in the room. The view from the rooms were amazing! Breakfast was included in our package and we enjoyed it a lot. One of the sons is the chef and did an amazing job. Bread, pancake roll with bananas and syrup, omelette as we liked, fruits, juice, tea and coffee were offered and every plate was empty by the end. I would highly recommend Ever Breeze Ella and will stay again without hesitation. Thank you Ever Breeze Ella!!

One of the cleanest places we've been in Sri Lanka. We had the best sleep there. Hosts were lovely. Small amenities like a fridge and a hairdryer in the room were a huge plus (didnt find these in any other place we stayed in Sri Lanka)

Nothing, everything was perfect. If I had pick one thing maybe the water pressure in the shower could have been a bit higher.

Brand new hotel with clean, comfortable rooms. We liked the calmness and the amazing views, only a short ride into Ella centrum. Very friendly and helpful manager and personnel. From getting a Tuk tuk, to laundry service: everything was made possible. We enjoyed our stay a lot and can only recommend staying at Ever Breeze Ella.

The quality of the shower is not good, the water flow is small.

The road to the hotel is a bit difficult but we can make it. Two staffs are so hospitality, helpful and friendly.

The water pressure was a bit low.

The hotel was very clean and tidy. The staff super friendly and helpful. I had a special request on short notice and it was still fulfilled. To perfection if I may add. There was even a cake😁!!

The mountain view from the room was amazing, the staff (Anoj & colleagues) was very helpful - they recommended to us great place to visit, Tuk Tuk driver and adjust the breakfast for us.
