We only had one night to enjoy this lovely property but we wish we could have stayed longer! Charli and family looked after us so kindly, organising tours and transport as needed - nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are clean and the views from the verandah are amazing! Breakfast was lovely, there was honestly nothing we could fault. Its a short distance from town but this makes it much quieter, and a tuk tuk ride was always readily accessible. Thank you Charli, Amila and Charli's lovely parents for all your care!

Such a kind family welcoming us to Ella. We are a big family and being all in one room was great - it was a huge bedroom and worked really well. They organised a great tuk tuk tour of Little Adam's Peak and Nine arches too.

Each room has an own little terrace space and the views are impeccable. They provide with a great breakfast and the room is nice and clean, as well as the bathroom. The family is very hospitable as well, and has their own tuktuk available for when you need!

The location was a little noisy

A little out of town though the owner was always willing to come pick you up so you didn’t have to walk back in the dark

Beautifilul view, you rather need a tuktuk to get to Ella, 5 minutes drive from the train station. There’s no A/C in the room, only two powerful fans - we visited in July and it was more than enough as it was around 18 degrees outside. I left my laundry to the host and it was ready for the next morning!

Amenities in the bathroom could have been better.

Our stay was very comfortable, the location is not too far from the main city but far enough from the crowds with beautiful views of the mountains. The host was very friendly and helpful. They also have a tuktuk standby which is driven by the hosts’ father so thanks to him also for driving us here and there when needed. We really enjoyed the delicious breakfast prepared for us every morning!

Room was very tight with two beds, shower was a bit difficult. Wi-Fi and power were inconsistent (normal for that area). Not a lot of food options within walking distance.

Nice and affordable location connected to a small shop. The hosts were friendly and responsive. Great hiking trail right behind the location to see Ella Rock or Little Rawana waterfall. Lots of monkeys in the trees surrounding the property. Breakfast was great!

The room is a bit small, but this is okay if you use the outside area as well. It is located a bit outside from Ella, but it's a very quiet area

The only difficulty is because it is on a hill and the road is narrow, it is not very easy for vans to make a u-turn. This isn't in our control. :)

Maybe the bathroom could be nicer

Shani is the sweetest person I have ever met. She will go above and beyond to get you anything you like. The location is 10 minutes away from the city center but the view is too good. We chilled at the balcony for hours. The room is nice but basic. Very very good value for what you pay for. The breakfast is also good and you have a good view with the breakfast so I was sold.
