The view on the mountains (Ella's rock) and the valley + the calm... Wahou! The wildness which surrounds us: squirrels everywhere, birds flying around, trees, ... The location - 5 to 10 mn to get to the main street - without the disturbance of the people partying. And, finally and most importantly, the kindness of the manager which took the time to show us the various trees and fruits around + he booked a taxi for us

We stayed in a family room, big enough for 5. Stunning views! Breakfast was really great and friendly staff. A 10-15min walk to main street with a lot of restaurants and shops.

No electricity when we arrived but it was off in the whole area so not the fault of the accommodation

We had a fantastic stay at Ella Mount Relax Cottage. Good value for money. The accommodation is well located, with a good view and close to the city center. The staff is very friendly. We also enjoyed the breakfast. We could appreciate that they serve a different breakfast every morning.

We loved the location and the view. The family cottage is beautiful and quite modern. Breakfast is nice, staff is very friendly. To reach it with the car is possible, but challenging. Close to restaurants.

Upgrade the bathroom a bit

We really enjoyed our stay there. The room was very beautiful, spacious and clean with an amazing view of Ella Rock. The bathroom was a bit old and small but it didn't bother us. The hosts were very kind, helped us with everything and especially with planning trips in the Ella area. Highly recommended!

Just a few bits of constructive feedback... 1. The shower curtain must be replaced in the bathroom. It was dirty and mouldy. 2. The mosquito nets need replacing. They had holes - we were bitten in the night. 3. I think the drains need to be cleaned as there was a funny smell coming up from the shower.

Wow - This was situated in stunning scenery. It was incredible!! We woke to monkey on the trees outside our room and the balcony was lush to sit on in the evenings to hear all the wildlife. Its situated close to little adams peak and 9 arch bridge. Its also a 5 min walk to the centre of Ella. Breakfast was nice and everyone was very friendly. There was a kettle with tea and coffee.

Lovely stay at Ella Mount Relax Cottage. A short walk from the Main Street. Staff were lovely. Good size rooms with great views and good privacy. Fans work great at keeping temp down overnight in rooms

There is literally nothing we didn’t like. Didn’t have AC but that’s completely fine as Ella is a bit cooler

The view was the best we could ever have dreamed of. Literally better than little Adam’s peak. Amazing for the price and really nice host, accommodating to requests!! The rooms were absolutely gorgeous. Loved sitting on the egg chair and observing local mystery mammals and kingfishers flying around. Birdwatchers dream. They had a golden retreaver puppy which was the best thing ever. Would recommend waking up for sunrise and seeing it directly from your room, then sleeping again after!! Really good location, can walk to the main road easily and on the way to little Adam’s peak and nine arches! Breakfast not included but this is not an issue as there are so many options in town! Place ended up being cheaper than expected and insane value for the price!!

Not a complaint but possible visitors should know this hotel is in the tourist/hotel area of Ella. That means narrow roads with a lot of holes. Tuktuks, which everyone uses, can get there normally and it's a quick walk to the city. If you're coming by car, it's annoying. It's doable,thought - we went by van. Also, I think hot water is solar so gets low at night. Pressure isn't the best, but we managed.

Loved the place so much we went back. It's a very relaxing location. The rooms have privacy and amazing views.. Owners have the cutest dog (Benji). Breakfast is good enough, eggs and jams and stuff.

The views were breathtaking! We loved breakfast every morning overlooking the valley and the staff were incredibly kind, helpful and thoughtful. A must stay if you're looking for a short walk into Ella Town while still surrounded by tranquility.

The rooms are in desperate need of a dehumidifier. Or two. The smell of mildew is intense and everything feels dump. Of course we heard that everywhere in Ella is like that, but I strongly believe that a dehumidifier will help significantly. Also, keep in mind that there are leeches in the grass.

The view is awesome and the location is very convenient. Basically you can go everywhere on foot, since it is located right in the center of Ella.

The view from the pleasant cottage is amazing ! If you want to enjoy Ella Gap during your breakfast go there ! + the team is really kind (and helpful, even when you forgot your stuff 😅)

The bathroom was quite small - but very clean

Beautiful cottages with the most amazing views. Very helpful staff. A short walk (although steep hill) to town. We had an issue with noise one night from a neighbouring property (mixing cement at 10pm!!) and the owner called the owner of that property to make it stop. We were also offered to move to a different room, but didn't need to as the call from this owner stopped it.
