We drove a Tuk-tuk and we weren’t noticed about how hilly it was to get to the accommodation or that there isn’t a lot of easy parking.

Very comfortable stay. Everything was clean, we had everything we needed. The view and the breakfast was way better than we expected !

The view is just stunning & the hosts are very sweet. I had an amazing homemade veggie curry one night.. the location is good - but you have to walk down a hill to get to the town center. It’s okay during the day but would not recommend to walk up again during nighttime, so that’s wenn you’d need a Tuktuk. All in all a really nice place to stay!

The view is really something, the host Ashi was really sweet and cooked us great breakfast. The room is nice, just the bed is a little bit too har. It is about 10 minutes to the town but away from all the noise of ella.

Nice place with wonderful view from the terrace. The host is a pretty sweet girl who is always helpful. For a very little additional money you can enjoy delicious and healthy breakfast. There are socket adapters in the room so no troubles with charging phones etc. We were provided with all the sanitaries, and even with a hairdryer. Highly recommended. impeccable privacy, kettle at disposal. 11 stars, 🤩

Ashini is an amazing host and cook! She’s very helpful with any questions and made me the best vegan rice and curry in my two weeks in Sri Lanka! The view from your private balcony is just stunning! You see the trains come in from Kandy and also a beautiful waterfall. And so many different animals visit the garden. I saw a hornbill, sunbird, mynas, monkeys, a bat,…10’ walk into town along the tracks. Can’t recommend highly enough! Thank you very much Ashini!

There was a leak on the roof with the heavy rain during our stay. They could not repair it as the workers could not make it with the rain, but gave us an extra towel to put on the floor.

This appartement with a beautiful view on the waterfall is the perfect place to chill for a few days. The family hosting is really nice and helpful, always ready to answer to our demands (like an extra blanket for the night). The breakfast is amazing and homemade, facing the breathtaking view.

nothing, we loved everything!

Our stay at Elle Elysium Escapes was incredible! Ashini and her mum were amazing hosts who made us feel right at home. The room was spacious, spotless, and had a super comfortable bed with plenty of storage and a cozy blanket for Ella’s cooler weather. The views were breathtaking—we loved admiring Ella Rock and a little waterfall every morning over breakfast. The location is peaceful, away from the busy main street, and Ashini showed us a shortcut to town, which was so helpful! The food was exceptional—traditional Sri Lankan breakfasts and delicious rice and curry for dinner. When I got sick, Ashini and her mum went above and beyond, preparing ginger infusions to help me recover. They even helped us arrange transportation to our next destination. Everything was perfect, and we feel so lucky to have stayed here. Highly recommend for anyone visiting Ella!

Ashini was super kind and helpful, I had a wonderful time with them! The view was breathtaking, and every morning I had a rich and delicious breakfast watching the waterfall from my terrace. The room was spacious and very comfortable, with nice hot water in the shower. Very good value for your money! The location is a bit remote, but with Ashini's help I discovered a shorter way to the town which took only 10-12 minutes.

Sometimes evening wifi very slow - I think due to a weather. When rainning, water hitting a tin roof makes a noise. But when it's not raining, it's beautifully quiet.

The road to the place is very steep, but is almost everywhere in Ella. WiFi signal was weak

Great place and room was very clean. Also it is quite place. Family members are very friendly and hospitality was very good. The station is located in close proximity to all the sightseeing spots in the Ella area. Exceptional value for money ❤️
