Fantastic View of the waterfall, very comfortable room with hot shower. Delicious breakfast and thoughtful staff. Wished we stayed longer.

There is a terrace with a beautiful view of the waterfall and Ella Rock. The location is good, it’s about a 15-minute walk to Ella town, but the way there is quite steep. However, it’s worth it. Family made us breakfast which was very tasty, we had a traditional Sri Lankan breakfast and it was a little different each day.

I loved this stay! It really felt like home! I can 100% recommend. You ‘ll get nice clean room, and beautiful terase for yourself. The host are incredibly kind people, there are there if you need them but you still have your privacy. I would love to come again. Thank you🙏🏻

This was an absolutely perfect stay. The accommodation is not in the busy, noisy part of town, but its location is ideal, offering a beautiful walk with stunning views. The terrace was simply spectacular. The host family was wonderful—very welcoming and always ready to help with anything we needed. The breakfast was delicious, and we even requested an extra lunch, which they prepared for us—a homemade meal that was both delicious and very generous in portion. Everything about our stay was perfect. Highly recommended!

3 generational family homestay, amazing waterfall view from terrace and short walk into town

Clean and well equipped room 10 minutes away from Kandy town center. I really appreciated the tranquility of this homestay and the view out of the room and from the balcony was incredible. The family was really friendly. A typical Sri Lankean breakfast was served on the balcony.

One of the best experiences we’ve ever had at "Elegance View" in Ella! We felt truly welcomed and cared for by the kindest family. The hospitality was incredible—especially the warmth of the host and her lovely mother-in-law. Every morning, they prepared a delicious homemade meal that was simply unforgettable. We’re already missing it!

Steep hill not reachable by car or tuk-tuk (few metres down ok). Staira to get to the house somewhat challenging.

It was our first time at a Homestay and we felt very lucky to be staying with such a lovely family. They were very welcoming from the minute we got there until we left. They went above and beyond with everything and the breakfast was amazing! It was different everyday with lots of different Sri Lankan dishes to try and loads of food! The balcony is massive and the view we had was incredible. We felt very relaxed staying here. They also have 2 very cute children!

The homestay is run by a lovely family that always made sure we had all we needed. The view from the room is amazing, homecooked local food for breakfast (each day something new) was delicious and the location was great (only 10-15 minutes from Ella city). We had a wonderful time!

I received a warm and friendly welcome, enjoyed a delicious breakfast prepared with care, and made me feel at home. I highly recommend this place. The view of Ella Rock is fantastic, but it’s only complete with this particular family. Location can be reached with a car or tuk-tuk but from Ella City you can arrive to the property in less than 10 min following the train railway. You can enjoy the view and also check the Budhist temple which is nearby. Separate entrance and If requested laundry available at very reasonable price. Fridge and wifi available.

Big private balcony with amazing view. Room is comfortabel with fridge and kettle. The host and her family were lovely. She even did our laundry.

Great view with amazing sunrise, the hosts were very kind and supportive. Only one room with big balcony, so good privacy. Food was delicious as well. Would come back anytime.

A really lovely guest house. The family were friendly and the room clean and spacious. Breakfast was delicious 😋 it's super peaceful up in the hills.

It's a little far from the town

Very clean, modern & comfortable room with an incredible view. The best bed in Sri Lanka so far! It’s a 10min walk out of town but it’s great to be away from the noise & amongst the wildlife. The family was very welcoming & we extended our stay from two nights to six because we loved it so much. Highly recommend!

Sometimes the walk but you can get a tuktuk also

It was hard to find the place, location on booking maps is not quite right, so we spent almost 30 minutes, looking for a place, and turned out it has no sign, the host eventually met us on the road.
