Only improvement point would be the light in the bathroom. One extra lamp above the mirror would make it perfect.

Beautiful 2 story appartment in the middle of the jungle and a beautiful garden. Great views from the balconies and amazing to hear and see the wildlife around you. The house was very comfortable, spacious and has everything required. The hosts were great, very friendly and kind and the breakfast was simply amazing, so tasty, fresh and plentiful (read: too much😉) Highly recommend!

The location in the jungle and the host were fantastic. Breakfast was delicious. The host helped us with any little question and transport. When there was no Tuktuk he drove us himself to town. And also arranged the transport to GalOya our next location

It was quite dark inside for reading, light not quite enough.

Quiet spot out of the main town. Family rooms connected by the deck felt safe having the kids in a different room. The breakfast was huge and delicious!

It’s a little way out of Ella (5 min uphill tuktuk ride) which is to be expected given that you’re in the forest! But worth bearing in mind with your travel plans.

It was amazing staying in the forest, it was great waking up to the sounds of so many animals. We loved birdwatching from the balcony too. Breakfast was also amazing and cooked fresh for us by the host right by our cabin.

Beautiful unique accommodation - just like staying in a tree house. Bed was huge and really comfortable. The lovely staff prepared a delicious breakfast and we also had a great dinner there also. It is a short 5 min ride in a tuk tuk to the main town area.

Very friendly and welcoming host who went out of his way to make us comfortable. Great quiet location just a 10 min tuktuk ride to Ella centre. Rooms well equipped with mosquito nets over the very comfortable beds. We had to leave very early in the morning and our host prepared a delicious take away breakfast for us, and organised transport to the station for us. He couldn’t have been more helpful! Thank you

There were some insects and a cockroach inside the mesh above the bed that should keep you protected from the bugs so we couldn't really use that.

Really good, sri lankan breakfast, and interesting construction of the room as a treehouse. Additional plus for the patio with two chairs where you can sit surrounded by the nature. There were other people in the room adjacent to ours but we didn't hear anything.

Many steps to get to the bungalow. No problem for us but would not recommended it for elderly.

Great family bungalow in the middle of the forest. Could listen to nature’s noises birds and water sounds from the river. Secluded and no eye contact with other bungalows

Small place nested in the hills. Very private and beautifully crafted. Huge, super comfy bed with high spec mosquito net. Spacious room, huge bathroom. Nice breakfast provided.

There was a sewage smell coming out of the drains so we always kept the bathroom door closed.

The location up in the treetops! We watched birds, fire flies, giant squirrels and monkeys right from our porch. It was amazing. Not very suitable for people traveling with a big suitcase, so bring a backpack.

Nothing - this place is awesome

It’s stunning in its location in the forest with birds and monkeys and squirrels. The architecture is gorgeous and rustic and the natural light and view are lovely. The authentic Sri Lankan breakfasts were the best we had on our trip. Different each day and delicious and VERY generous. The staff were always paying attention to see if you needed anything. And the house dog and rabbits were a big hit.

Nothing, it was perfect

Our host was one of the kindest people we have ever met, even by Sri Lankan standards! The family went above and beyond to make us feel welcome and to help us when we had an issue with our bike. The cabin was perfect, immaculately clean and beautiful with an incredible view. It is surrounded by very beautiful gardens so you feel secluded in the jungle. The breakfast was delicious too! The location was also ideal, away from the busy town but close enough that it was very convenient. It was a perfect stay!!

We stayed here for two nights and loved the cozy treehouse feeling and the super friendly host. It was nice to come back to this hidden place surrounded by trees after a day in the busy town. The breakfast was delicious and we felt very welcome.
